Very sweet, but that's the way I love them! Perfect too with my morning coffee!

Quinoa Tabbouleh

This was inexpensive, fast, and super healthy. I'll make this again and again, it will be especially great in the summer!

Jen's Fresh and Spicy Salsa

Reviewed: Mar. 28, 2011
This was really good, but I only used one jalapeno with a few seeds instead of using two jalapenos. I'll make this again, but I'll use more tomatoes as it was a bit too watery for my tastes.

Good Old Fashioned Pancakes

Reviewed: Feb. 28, 2011
This was a lot better than any baking mix pancakes. I'll use this again, thanks!

MMMMM... Brownies

Reviewed: Feb. 24, 2011
Be sure to let the chocolate mixture cool or temper the eggs, or you will get cooked eggs in your mixture. I baked these for 30 minutes and they came out perfect.

Baked Tofu Bites

Reviewed: Feb. 22, 2011
I too was hoping the texture would be a little different. I'll give this another try, but I'm going to stir fry the tofu first until it's crispy, then add the sauce in until it thickens. I'll also add fresh garlic and more hot sauce.

Real Welsh Rarebit

Reviewed: Feb. 17, 2011
If you don't have beer, don't make this recipe. It's not the same without it! This was a great recipe. The better the cheese you use, the better it tastes. Use a nice aged sharp cheddar, it makes all the difference.

Veronica's Hot Spinach, Artichoke and Chile Dip

Reviewed: Feb. 7, 2011
I liked this even more than the "Artichoke & Spinach Dip Restaurant Style" recipe. Next time I'll add a few cloves of garlic!

Alicia's Aloo Gobi

Reviewed: Feb. 1, 2011
I used about half of the cayenne that the recipe called for and it was the perfect heat for me. I served it over quinoa. Even though I diced my potatoes small, it took almost an hour for them to cook through.

Quinoa Side Dish

Reviewed: Jan. 31, 2011
This is quickly becoming my go-to side dish. It's fast, inexpensive, and healthy! Plus, it's a lot easier to make than rice, I've never messed this up.

Spanish-Style Quinoa

Reviewed: Jan. 28, 2011
The flavor was good, but there was way too much liquid in this. I'd reduce the water to 1 1/2 cups, and use broth instead of water.

I didn't refrigerate them either, just mixed them up and in the oven they went. I added raisins. Very good!

Spiced Quinoa

I'm sorry it took me so long to make this. I had all the ingredients in my pantry, super easy and a great alternative to rice as a side dish. I'll make this again for sure!

Pumpkin Gingerbread

Reviewed: Nov. 29, 2010
Hands down my favorite pumpkin bread/gingerbread recipe ever. It took longer than an hour, almost 15 minutes more. Check the bread in both pans with a toothpick to make sure it's ready!

Sweet and Spicy Sweet Potatoes

Reviewed: Nov. 29, 2010
Very good, but I prefered the Cajun Style Baked Sweet Potato recipe a little bit more. This also needed salt (I didn't use the poultry seasoning, maybe that's why?).

Spicy Black Bean Cakes

Reviewed: Nov. 15, 2010
I too added another egg, and used panko instead of the bread crumbs. I used both the broil method, and I also baked another batch at 400. Next time I'll use the food processor to combine the jalapeno and sour cream for the dip so it's a bit smoother.
