Grilled Lamb with Brown Sugar Glaze

Reviewed: Nov. 24, 2014
I pan seared the lamb chops, then added apple cider vinegar to deglaze the pan. I added the mixture to the vinegar and created a reduction sauce with it. Then I poured the reduction sauce on top of the chops in a casserole dish and finished them in the oven. These braised lamb chops were wonderful!

My Best Clam Chowder

Reviewed: Nov. 14, 2014
My children are going through food testing so we needed to make this dairy free. I used coconut milk instead of half-and-half. I also added Old Bay Seasoning and white pepper. Didn't try the bacon this time around. This was wonderful! The coconut milk added a slight sweetness. I think it would be really good countered with bacon and liquid smoke.

Slow Cooker Barbequed Beef Ribs

Reviewed: Aug. 26, 2014
I prepared the sauce in a sauce pan before adding it to the ribs. I simmered it a bit to reduce the liquid. I seared the ribs first, then poured about half of the sauce on the ribs in the slow cooker. The rest of the sauce we used for dipping. I actually cooked the ribs on low for over 10 hours. They fell right off the bone and were excellent. The flavor of the sauce on the beef ribs was terrific.

Garlic Steak with Garlic

Reviewed: Aug. 31, 2013
I marinated the steaks for only 5 hours and had more than 2 ounces of steak in each batch of marinade, but the garlic flavor still came through on the steaks. It was subtle, but definite. Instead of whole cloves I minced the roasted garlic to make a garlic oil sauce. The garlic and balsamic vinegar was awesome. Everyone loved this meal! We'll definitely make it again.

Grilled Turkey Legs

Reviewed: May 11, 2009
Our local grocery store only had smoked turkey legs available. This had the advantage of giving the inner meat nice flavor, but the disadvantage of being more dry after boiling and grilling. I look forward to comparing the smoked legs with the recipe the way it was intended. The outer part of the legs had a nice flavor with the red pepper and honey contrasting each other and the crispy grilled outside. This recipe is in our folder for regular use!

Chipotle Crusted Pork Tenderloin

Reviewed: Aug. 1, 2007
I used chipolte sauce instead of the chipolte powder. I mixed all the spices in the sauce then dipped each pork chop into the mixture. Absolutely delicious - my wife's new favorite pork chop recipe!!
