Baked Pork Chops I

Reviewed: Mar. 20, 2015
Turned out perfectly! I sautéed extra mushrooms and added it to the sauce. I also mixed the sauce on the stovetop to heat it up before I put it on top of the chops. My family devoured them. Outstanding!

Addictive Sweet Potato Burritos

Reviewed: Jan. 26, 2015
These couldn't be more delicious. I used canned black beans and smashed them beforehand with a potato masher. Then, I added them to the onions and garlic. After I started, I realized I didn't have chili powder, so I used taco seasoning instead. I also used frozen mashed sweet potatoes from Trader Joe's. I just heated them up and assembled everything according to the directions and Voila - deliciousness!

I cannot stop eating these! I thought it might last a bit strange with the Worcestershire sauce, but it was amazing. I followed the recipe exactly and so glad I did. Great!

LC'S Sweet Potato Fries

Reviewed: Sep. 17, 2014
My family devoured these! I followed the recipe with the exact ingredients, then I baked them on my perforated pizza pan at 425 degrees for 40 minutes. They were deliciously crunchy on the outside and soft and sweet on the inside. These will be made with many dinners in my household!

Aussie Chicken

Reviewed: Sep. 2, 2014
This was delicious after it had a little time to let the flavors mix. I liked it a tremendous amount the next night. I used chicken tenderloins and pounded them down to about 1/4 inch and they cooked up perfectly - moist and juicy. For the sauce, I added all the ingredients as stated, but I only used 1/8 cup of corn syrup. I sautéed the mushrooms in the bacon grease and crumbled the bacon and sprinkled the bacon and mushrooms all over the top with a little cheese. They were good the first night, and FANTASTIC the following night.

Slow Cooker Carnitas

Reviewed: Sep. 2, 2014
Delicious, easy and quick. I actually tripled the spice mix and used a 4 1/2 lb. roast, which I cut into four even pieces. I rubbed the spices on each piece and poured one can of chicken broth in the crock pot and let it go for about 11 hours. There was no need to turn the meat half way through. The meat was perfect and fell apart beautifully. It made for great tacos, nachos and then a few days later I put some bbq sauce on it, and rolled it up in a crescent roll with cheddar chess and had bbq calzones. I love it when I can get three meals out of something. Awesome!

Erin's Cheesy Broccoli Soup

Reviewed: Aug. 20, 2014
We really enjoyed this soup. Very smooth and cheesy. I used chicken broth instead of water and granules. I also added a bit of salt and pepper. Other than that I followed the rest of the recipe as written. Nice to have a recipe that is easy and delicious!

Easy Meatloaf - Modified from original recipe

Reviewed: Nov. 17, 2013
As is this is a very good basic recipe. Our family was very happy but it does need a bit more flavoring. Next time I will use seasoned bread crumbs and add some garlic for some more flavor.

Peanut Butter Popcorn

Reviewed: Jun. 18, 2013
Delicious! I followed the recipe as written, except I used 1/2c coconut oil in place of the butter. I also sprayed a cookie sheet with Pam and baked the popcorn coated with the mixture at 300 degrees for 10 minutes. Addicting!

My husbands first comment after taking one bite was, "You made a peanut butter cup!" He loved them. I followed the recipe exactly as written and they were addicting and beyond delicious!

Simply Parmesan Chicken

Reviewed: Mar. 1, 2012
This is now a favorite. I used chicken tenderloins and put some salt and pepper on before I dredged it in the egg and crumb mixture. Also, instead of bread crumbs, I threw some old wheat crackers in the food processor and then mixed it with the parmesan cheese and Italian seasoning. I covered the chicken and popped it into the oven at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. The chicken turned out very very tasty and deliciously moist.

Stir-Fried Sesame Asparagus

Reviewed: Feb. 14, 2012
This was wonderful with a great fresh flavor. I used olive oil in place of the peanut oil just because I didn't have any. Everything else I followed exactly. It turned out great.

BBQ Chicken Calzones

Reviewed: Jan. 25, 2012
This is seriously delicious! My husband said it is his new favorite and I should open a restaurant with it. Anyway, I followed the recipe, but I drained half of the bacon grease before I added the chicken. Also, I added a bit more BBQ sauce than called for. Really good - thank you!

Delicious, easy and fast. Almost as fast as the microwave. Every last kernel popped and I added a bit of salt which made the flavors - pop! :)

Easy Batter Fruit Cobbler

Reviewed: Nov. 23, 2011
Perfect recipe. It has a rich buttery taste with a great combination of sweet fruit flavors. I followed the recipe exactly and used fresh blackberries and raspberries. We ate it warm and did not add anything to it. Fantastic! Can't wait to try other fruits. Also, couldn't be easier!

Fresh Southern Peach Cobbler

Reviewed: Aug. 8, 2011
This is an exceptional recipe! Fresh and superbly delicious. I cut my peaches into thick wedges and it worked great. Also, another reviewers suggestion to peel the peaches couldn't have been easier. Just drop the peach in boiling water for about 60 seconds and then drop in a bowl of ice water for about 60 seconds. The skins will slide right off. Yay! I will definitely be making this recipe again and just for my taste I will be doubling the topping. Loved loved loved it!

Slow Cooker Ham

Reviewed: Apr. 24, 2011
This was outstanding! I added about a cup of orange juice with the brown sugar to the bottom of the cooker. Then spread the rest of the brown sugar on top of the ham. I also used a 9lb spiral sliced ham and cooked it on low heat for about 5hrs. Turned out amazing. The meat was super moist and had a wonderful flavor all the way through. I will never cook my ham any other way. With the slow cooker the flavors permeate every part. Happy happy happy!

Soft Chocolate Cookies

Reviewed: Feb. 20, 2011
Wow! My big mistake was making these unbelievably delicious cookies. Now I can't stop eating them. I followed the recipe exactly and used room temp eggs so they would be easier to mix. I would recommend waiting until they are completely cooled to try. I was impatient and tried one right away - a little like eating hot brownie mix. But, once they are cooled, they are chewy and fantastic! Did I mention fantastic!?!?

Best Brownies

Reviewed: Jan. 13, 2011
I followed this recipe exactly and was somewhat disappointed. It tasted like a standard brownie that was a little cakey. Unfortunately, the frosting was way too sweet.
