Guinness® Corned Beef

Reviewed: Mar. 18, 2009
I'm not sure what I was expecting with this recipe,I followed the directions to the letter, but wasn't impressed with this.I cooked it the day before, cooled it,put it in the fridge, brought it back up to temp on St.Pats Day.The br.sugar melted off and the Guiness didn't do anything for it.Won't try again.sorry.

Chantal's New York Cheesecake

Reviewed: May 18, 2009
The taste was Divine!Moist, creamy,PERFECT I added r/s blackberry jam over mine for a little sweetness.Awesome! Thanks a million for helping me keep hubby happy. UPDATE: 11-13-09 I made this again and this time added 2 rows of crushed Oreo's to the batter. The family LOVED it!! They thought I bought it! I used cinnamon gram crackers for the crust. I also baked it in a cake pan, lined with cris cross foil, so I could use a water bath and not have to worry about leaking of spring form. I put a plate on the cake after it cooled in the oven for 5 hrs and just slipped the cake out and put in a cake cover. It turned out Great!! Hope you like it too:)

Very Best Blueberry Cobbler!

Reviewed: May 18, 2009
The whole family really enjoyed this cobbler! I accidentally added the cinnamon with the berries, and it turned out better then I expected!I thought it would have been a little more moist, but my son, the pastry expert( He once said a crust on a pie from a resturant, was the best he's ever had, I've never made him a pie with crust),thought the cobbler was perfect! Thank you for a wonderful dessert!Patty

Coconut Shrimp I

Reviewed: May 21, 2009
MY daughters, son and I loved them, my hubby did NOT. I made the shrimp just like it said, I added seasoning to the flour, ground up the coconut a little. I accidentally added the coconut to the flour, but it still did the job. One more inpotant thing tp consider, buy the biggest shrimp you can afford.

Panzanella Salad

Reviewed: Jun. 5, 2009
I just LOVED this!! It was very good and something different for my taste buds. It is a visually stunning recipe, and totally Delish! I only made one little change( Cring!!), I used smoked Gouda instead of the mozzarella. The fact that I could get a day old loaf of perfectly great bread and turn it into something completely different was worth trying this recipe! Thank you very much.:) Patty

I put the streusel on top put not Alot, next time, I'll add more, cover the muffin completely with it. I didn't have reg.br.sugar so I used splenda br.sugar. Applesauce Salad

Reviewed: Jun. 10, 2009
This was a truly unique and creative salad . I fell in love with this the moment I sampled it before dinner. I could find reg SF cherry jello so I had to settle for black cherry( I Was in a hurry to try it and patience is not my thang). Next time I will use cherry jello. The flavor is very addicting, you eat it and you just want to keep eating it. I served it on a bed of lettuce.Easy to make and pretty to look at. Thanks again for another keeper Miss Bee.

Creamy Pimento Cheese

Reviewed: Jun. 16, 2009
I forgot to take a picture of this delish spread. Darn, I ate it all! I also used most of mine for the fried Mac n' Cheese balls. I will definitely make this again! Next time, I will save a little of the drained pimento juice so I can make the spread a little more spreadable. It would give it more pimento flavor as well. Loved it!!

I remembered what Scotdog said in her blog about recipes that don't work and some of the reasons why. So, I redid the rest, with new lard and it Still didn't work! By the time the outside was done the cheese was melting and now I have a pot of melted burned cheese!I did love the taste of the mac n cheese though.Next time I'll just stick with casserole style.:(:( >>> posted 06-16-09 @5pm
