I added chopped apples to this fritter;) These were super good. I did add some brown sugar. NOTE: Use a tablespoon, not a scoop like I did, mine a bit doughy, my bad, haha. Perfect breakfast along with sausage patties. YummmO Thank you I L T E ;)

Herbed Alfredo Mashed Potatoes

Reviewed: Aug. 15, 2014
Needed a side to go with my meatloaf and this filled the bill. I like to salt my water when I boil potatoes, so with the addition of the Alfredo sauce, this is a good solid alternative potato dish. I did top it with the Panco crumbs & French's fried onion. Thank you ARich01, good job;;)

Ham Loaf II

Reviewed: Aug. 14, 2014
This was pretty good! I found some ground pork in the freezer and went searching for a recipe. Well, I got lucky, I had most everything, Plus it was FACELESS! I did add onion & fresh rosemary to the ham as I pulsed it up in the FP. Added some garlic salt / pepper. I loved the glaze too! Never thought of That combo;) The sweet n salty of this loaf is just terrific! Thank you Penny;) Delish!!

Homemade Buttermilk Pancake Mix

Reviewed: Aug. 13, 2014
My kids don't get breakfast at Breakfast, they are off to work way too early! I have always loved making it for them for dinner even when they were in school. So I did it for them again and dug through the pantry. While I was gathering P-cake ingreds. I found the pumpkin puree and Knew I had sliced peaches in the freezer! TA DA!! I added some pumpkin spice & sugar along with a can each of evaporated milk and water. These were to DIE FOR!!! Please forgive me Tamara for the 4 stars, I belong to Tweakers R US!! LOL Plus I saw your variations and went crazy;) Your recipe is a solid 10 stars! Thank you for a twist on an old favorite dinner time tradition!

Rum Butter

Reviewed: Aug. 13, 2014
Your knows those times when you look in the fridge and are crestfallen to discover you only have the SAME fruit spread for your toast you had yesterday, last Month? Well, NOT ANY MORE! This rum butter will liven up your toast, bagel, muffin, pancakes, etc in no time flat!! I only made a small amount, since it lasts a while in my house. I also used Turbinado sugar, b/c I was out of br. sugar. This is AWESOME! It reminds me of the Hot buttered Rum batter I was gifted at Christmas;) Now I don't have to wait till the holidays to enjoy a special treat! Thank you Very much Phoebe!

Beef and Brew

Reviewed: Aug. 12, 2014
I liked this dish a Lot! I was out of most of the veggies so decided to make it basically a stroganoff. I added some steak sauce with the beef bullion and simmered it about an hour, after which I added some sour cream. There was no noodles in the pantry so I made a wild rice to go under this yummy beef. DELISH! Thank you Jill Keeper;;)

Red, White and Blue Burgers

Reviewed: Aug. 7, 2014
These deserve 10 stars but I could not tweak it if my life depended on it. First, I needed more hamburger then I had, so I added a pound of spicy Bratwurst to the mixture along with some steak sauce, a package of Lipton onion soup mix too, just for good measure. I love onions too much to simply put them inside, so slices on the bun seems ideal! Not everybody in my family likes blue cheese, it went on individual burgers. If this burger wasn't big enough, I placed Hatch chilies on them as well!! These were EXCELLENT! ! THANK YOU from one Patty to another;;)

Macaron (French Macaroon)

Reviewed: Aug. 6, 2014
I have never made FM's before. I had time, took my time to read the reviews n tricks. If I'm gonna take the time to make these, that seem really technical, I don't want to screw em up! So, I went and bought my first digital scale. Measure, measure, measure!! I ran the almond flour through the FP and Still had a heck of a time sifting it! I was making these for the family so I just dumped the rest of the flour (2 tbls) that still had tiny pebbles in the bowl. Mey;) Gives texture and didn't seem to make a difference to me. I gave them some color, let them sit by an open window on a hot summer day and popped them in the oven. There is a vast difference of temps, I setitled on 375 then down to 325 once the pan went in, turned after 5 minutes. My cookies didn't rise as much as I thought and the lost a bit of color, the higher temp might be the reason. I will correct this next time. I GOT FEET!! No cracks, I used both silpat & parchment paper with no spray, nothing stuck. I made a mocha filling with Hershey/hazelnut coco spread & 1 tbls. Instant coffee crystals along with a little coffee creamer to thin it out. The family thought they were very good! Well, now I know I Can make them;) Thank you very much Elle. Keeper!!

Popa's Pickled Eggs

Reviewed: Aug. 3, 2014
I don't like pickled eggs. Well, before I made these I didn't, not any longer! These were terrific except for the fact that they weren't hot enough for us. I pickled for 2 days & cut up some of the peppers. Hoping longer will give me what I need, more Heat! Thank you BD, THESE ROCK!!

Asian Grilled Chicken

Reviewed: Aug. 3, 2014
I have had this in my RB since Feb. 2012. I Wish I had tried it the first day I added it! I didn't measure, eye balled the whole thing. I used Chinese 5 Spice powder in place of the curry. I grilled the boobs and slathered the extra sauce over them. Served it with mac n cheese. I will not soon forget this recipe! Thank you Lorelei Lee. Sorry it took me so long to make this;)

Party Franks

These little gems are Delicious! They deserve 12 stars but I tweaked them a bit. I didn't have grape jelly so I subbed orange marmalade. I stirred in mustard powder along with Chili sauce. Hard to have a party w/o saucy smoke links! Thank you Ann Marie!

Syrian Spaghetti

Reviewed: Jul. 31, 2014
This was easy peasy, which I Really appreciate! I had some hot Italian sausage in the freezer, I cooked it up with a large can of tomato soup and tomato strips. A couple shakes of seasoned garlic/parm powder and dinner was nearly ready. I didn't drain the sausage so I left out the oil and used bow tie pasta just for the fun of it:) My kids were happy when they got home from work since this Sketti means LUNCH Tomorrow!Thank you Mike, DELICIOUS! !
