I am trying to sign up to recieve the magazine.  The only problem is it won't let me put in a zip code. I put in the town and select the state but it is telling me I need to enter the state and zip.  I don't see an area to input the zip code.   I'm pretty savy when it comes to computers, but… MORE

My little man
About this Cook
Housewife that is always looking for different recipes. It's just my husband and I, so it's hard to cook for just two.
My favorite things to cook
Sweets are my favorite. You can tell by my shape. Unfortunately, I have to cook real meals. So I try to make it fun for both of us.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Thanksgiving and Christmas all the family is home. It's fun to cook for more than two people.
My cooking triumphs
My husband loves my chili. He knows that the spices are from a box. I even made him take a vow of silence or I told him I will never make it again. Every time we go to a football party, I have requests to make it. I’ll never tell them that it is so easy.
My cooking tragedies
I received a cooked (honey) ham recently from a friend. At the last minute, my hubby and I were called to go to dinner with his family. It wasn't completely thawed so we wrapped it up and put it back in the freezer. When I went to warm it up and add the honey glaze I noticed that I lost the instructions. I found recipes (from this site) for ham. I forgot the pre-cooked part. Needless to say, we had ham jerky. Worse—he told his mom what I did.

Tequila Shrimp
The only reason I gave it 3 stars is because my husband is trying to quit drinking so I used margarita mix without the tequila. DON'T do this. It is very bland and I got a "don't make again" from my husband. (Which doesn't happen very often). I will try it again with tequila just to see if it is any better.
