Jan's Savory Breakfast Sausage Patties

Family has flipped over these little gems. I ground my own pork with a 80-20 mixture and these seasonings are wonderful. Flavors just pop in your mouth. I made extra and have them in freezer. Just pop it in the microwave for about a minute. This is a must try recipe.

Aunt Nancy's Baked Beans

Heaven, pure heaven. We did end up cooking it a few more minutes but it was just what we wanted, old fashioned, wonderful baked beans. A winner here! TY.

Hash Brown Breakfast Casserole

Mexican Rice III

Very good recipe. I was hesitant but the flavors and cooking all together made a very tasty dish. Make sure you cook that rice first, it really adds another layer of flavor.

Rice Cooker Chicken

These thighs are so moist and tasty, it is unbelievable. I used the juice to cook the rice in and everything tasted wonderful. Not too salty, just enough spice to make it interesting and meat almost melts in your mouth.

Shrimp Dip

Had to use canned shrimp but this was superb! Let it set overnight and it tasted wonderful. Pulled back on the horseradish so I could even eat it. Oh, so good. I think I am back on the horseradish train. Garlic rounds are a definite. Makes the tastes come together. Yum.

Tres Leches (Milk Cake)

We have never tried a milk cake before so I thought this recipe might be one for us to try as a family. Everyone was very impressed with the taste and moistness of this cake. I put the topping on individually for everyone with a sprinkle of cinnamon or not depending on taste. We all enjoyed this cake very much.

Sugar Cookie Icing

This icing is perfect. Grand daughter had a blast "painting" the cookies and decorating. Icing tasted good and was vibrant and beautiful using the Walton icing coloring.

Easy Sausage Pizza by Johnsonville®

I used the Johnsonville All Natural Mild Italian Sausage pinched into little pieces and it cooked perfectly on pizza, in other words, NO need to precook. Nice balance of flavor, a little spice and very little grease. No complaints from anyone in house. Will be using Johnsonville for our homemade pizzas from now on.

Potatoes Au~ Gratin

Love this. I prepped the potatoes so I could add them at just the right time and I was blessed with a wonderful dish. You do have to keep eye on some processes in this recipe but it is well worth the effort. I did use a good Reggiano Cheese and let it get nice and browned at the end. Perfection. TY.

What a wonderful snack! The almond bark gives the creamy, sweet and the Cheetos give the crunch and heat. What more can you ask for?! Husband was skeptical, but he did manage to eat almost half the batch before I could stop him and make him share. Thanks for a tasty recipe.

Simple Strawberry Syrup

I forgot to review this a few weeks back when I made it. IT IS AWESOME! 2 weeks and flavor keeps getting better and better. Grand girls ask for this on pancakes. The fluffy pancakes recipe here btw that I keep in cupboard (dry ingredients). Wonderful combo.

Chicken Potato Bake

Doubled recipe ingredients and it was a success. Tender, fall off the bone almost chicken, potatoes were tender and flavorful. The cheese topping was an added delight. Used a wonderful Parmesan from my local Italian deli. Just enough sauce to cover and add a little to the potatoes as a sauce. Will certainly make again.

I made this recipe using Johnsonville All Natural Mild Italian Sausage. The sausage gave a very nice added layer of flavor. I did sub 1 can of beans for black beans. Not really spicey, that's the way we like it. A few family members did add some chopped hot peppers so everyone was happy.

Rapid Chicken Stock
