Sweet and Salty Toll House® Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 16, 2012
Family liked this cookie quite well. We prefer a soft cookie so I added a piece of bread to the container I had the cookies in and the cookies stayed soft but the chips and pretzels seemed to stay crunchy. They only lasted a few days and were enjoyed by all.

Quick and Flavorful Vegetables

Reviewed: Nov. 23, 2012
I cooked my 1/2 lb. baby carrots in about 1/2 cup of water and when almost done I added 1 packet of the vegetable broth, cooked until done and let it sit until serving. No need to add additional flavorings. Very tasty, and for a first, hubby tried and didn't add more salt!

Swanson® Ultra Creamy Mashed Potatoes

Reviewed: Nov. 23, 2012
I love cooking the potatoes in broth and I can count on the Swanson Broth to give such wonderful flavor each time I use it. Creamy and tasty and easy. I used the broth from the potatoes in more of my holiday cooking.

Campbell's® Green Bean Casserole

Reviewed: Nov. 23, 2012
Have been making this exact recipe for more years than I can remember. It is one of husbands favorites. I don't just make it for Thanksgiving either. Using the fat free version doesn't change the flavor.

Roast beef cooked in pasta sauce.

Reviewed: Nov. 18, 2012
Made this recipe adjusted to the meat I had and it was a definite hit! The flavor and texture was wonderful. Sauce should be even better tomorrow, if there is any! Meat just melts in the mouth and the flavors blend well. Thanks for a great recipe.

Dine In with Take Out

Reviewed: Nov. 10, 2012
Love, love this recipe. I have to tweak from time to time with step #6. I've been teaching husband to cook and this is his part of the recipe to master. We've been making this for many years and I must admit he is getting pretty good at it.

Hash Brown and Egg Casserole

Reviewed: Nov. 9, 2012
We really liked this dish. I did brown the hash browns in the pan for about 1/2 hour before adding filling. I also used chopped, sauted garlic and onions. Used a mixture of cheeses I had on hand and it was eaten almost before I could take a picture.

Southwest Chicken Bake

Reviewed: Nov. 7, 2012
The flavors in this recipe are wonderful. Just a touch of spice and loads of flavors. I changed a few of the amounts of the ingredients to adjust to our tastes and used my own Spanish Rice recipe. The chicken turned out so tender and tasty and you can taste the Italian Dressing slightly. The chunky salsa gives a nice texture against the corn and beans.Family loved it, hubby took some to work for lunch, a double portion!

Tomato Jell-O® Surprise

Reviewed: Nov. 6, 2012
I am the submitter of this recipe. When making this the instructions should have added that you have to decrease the liquid from the can by at least 1/8 cup. I cover with cling wrap and refrigerate for at least 12 hours, run a warmed knife around inside edge to remove. This is a good alternative to the cranberry mold for Thanksgiving. Try it for a different taste alternative. I have served it in small portions on a cracker that has mayo to help hold it in place and placed chives or diced onion on top. Use your imagination.

Delicious Raspberry Oatmeal Cookie Bars

Reviewed: Nov. 5, 2012
The whole family really liked these bars but hubby loved them. He has asked for them again and it has only been a week since I made last batch. I used the raspberry jam but I can see using different ones in this recipe. Just the right amount of crunch, sweet and color. A definite keeper.

Cheesy Bacon Crescents

Reviewed: Oct. 31, 2012
These crescents are very tasty and definitely remind me of a BLT without the L! I used the Seamless dough and got 4 good sized sandwiches. I would recommend crumbling the bacon. I made 2 using crumbles and found they folded much easier and were easier for young ones to eat. I also put cheese on 2 and those gave an even better cheesy flavor. Next time I might change around the ingredients and seasonings but on the whole, great recipe. I love the flakiness of the Pillsbury Crescents and this recipe showcases it very well.

Caramel Corn Treat Bags

Reviewed: Oct. 30, 2012
This caramel corn is perfect. Recipe is easy and tasty. It is important to keep the corn warm in the oven for about 5-10 mins. while you make the syrup. I usually just add some peanuts but this time we add candy corn, m&m's and a few more candies. The girls loved it for the Halloween party.

Creepy Mini Pizzas

Reviewed: Oct. 30, 2012
These turned out to be really fun, easy and tasty pizzas. I got 7 pizzas out of the recipe. Everyone thought the crust was tasty and they were just the right size for a group of 9 yr. old girls. They already want to make them again! I haven't had much luck with pizza crusts in the past but those days are over with this recipe.

Made this for recipe group. What a fun recipe! I didn't add the celery and increased onion, put a little cheese on for effect. A few little tweaks and we enjoyed making and eating this very much.

Savory Onion Bread

Reviewed: Oct. 22, 2012
Grand daughter (9 yrs. old) helped make this easy and tasty bread. I did add some garlic powder to recipe. Very nice texture and smell. Went very well with the chili I made. I can see playing with different spices when I make it again and again.

Mexican Rice III

Very good recipe. I was hesitant but the flavors and cooking all together made a very tasty dish. Make sure you cook that rice first, it really adds another layer of flavor.
