Savory Bubble Bread

Reviewed: Mar. 16, 2008
This bread has the perfect name - it IS savory! I combined the butter and spices and just rolled the dough in everything at once. Then I sprinkled with cheese. They rose beautifully, came apart easily once baked, and tasted delicious!

Really delicious! I added some cherry tomatoes I had on hand and used about 4 ounces of feta. Perfect!

Oatmeal Peanut Butter Cookies III

Reviewed: Jan. 24, 2009
These are amazing! Amazing. It's true they don't make a lot (I got 18 total) but what you get is fantastic! I added 1/2 tsp of vanilla to the filling but otherwise made as written. I baked for 8 minutes and that was perfect. They stayed soft too! I personally used every bit of filling and had none left over. I can't wait to try them dipped in chocolate as one reviewer suggested.

Mint Buttercream Frosting With Dark Chocolate Glaze

Reviewed: Dec. 24, 2008
Fabulous! This icing was absolutely perfect on Peppermint Chiffon Cake from this site. I put some green food coloring in and just drizzled the glaze over the top of the cake and let it spill over the sides. Turned out very pretty. I did add 3 Tbsp of powdered sugar to my glaze and we thought it tasted excellent. Also needed a splash more milk because it's a very thick frosting. Very yummy!

Italian-Style Spaghetti Squash

Reviewed: Nov. 19, 2005
This was such a great, light recipe. I'm on a very restrictive diet and I could still make this! We added turkey sausage and it was the perfect compliment. YUM!

Soft Christmas Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 24, 2012
Really delicious - really soft - really easy! I took the advice of others and cut the flour down to 3 cups, baked at 350 for 8 minutes, and they are perfect! Don't roll them out too thin; 1/4 inch is great.

Oat Snack Mix

Reviewed: Nov. 25, 2008
Oh so good! It's got the perfect blend of crunchy, sweet, and chewy. I doubled the amount of cranberries and raisins. We love it! I only wish it made more.

Heather's Slumgullion

Reviewed: Sep. 27, 2011
OK, this was fab and so easy! I used turkey kielbasa and one each of green and red peppers. I also seasoned a little with garlic salt. I fried everything as directed for 13 minutes and then added about 1/2 a bottle of beer and boiled for another 10 minutes. The potatoes were nice and tender and I think the beer added some good flavor. I highly recommend this!

Summer Style Chicken

Reviewed: Aug. 10, 2011
This was quite good. I took the advise of others and drizzled some Italian dressing over the chicken. Used some random green squash someone gave me and sprinkled garlic salt and pepper over the chicken and veggies. Topped with swiss cheese and a bit of parmesan because that's what I had on hand. Quite delicious!

Debdoozie's Blue Ribbon Chili

Reviewed: Nov. 20, 2004
This was very good. You could really taste the salsa, which gave it a very different flavor. I used ground turkey and 1 can of kidney beans with 1 can of pinto beans. I also took the suggestion of using 1 can of tomtao sauce and 1 can diced tomatos with garlic. I also didn't have "chili seasoning" so I just used 2 TBSP. chili powder. It was really good!

Chicken Pot Pie VI

Reviewed: May 21, 2008
Wow, really good! I boiled my chicken in chicken broth and added carrots and celery to cook with the onion since I didn't have a bag or can of mixed veggies. It was a bit salty, but that's easily fixed by not adding salt! Perfect with homemade crust. Yum!

Peanut Butter Chews

Reviewed: Dec. 24, 2009
Oh my - these are spectacular! I used 5 cups of cereal and only about 1/4 cup of butterscotch chips. I spread these out in a greased pan and then drizzled the melted chips on top so we'd have bars. It doesn't get much better than this! I, too, only boiled the syrup/sugar mixture for 30 seconds and these stayed nice and soft. Takes very little time or effort and the flavor is out of this world!

Antipasto Pasta Salad

Reviewed: Aug. 12, 2009
Simply delicious! I put this together the night before and then added the dressing about 3 hours before we ate. Used cucumber instead of peppers because I forgot to buy them. I also used about 12oz of pasta rather than a full pound. Otherwise made as written and it's just great! It makes a massive amount - plan for a group or to share.

Roasted Vegetable and Couscous Salad

Reviewed: Jun. 15, 2014
This is great! I did use quinoa instead of couscous. I also added a beet because I needed to use it, and I used olive oil rather than vegetable oil. Absolutely delicious. One of the best salads I've made!

Rempel Family Meatloaf

Reviewed: Feb. 6, 2008
Wow. Yum. Amazing. This was tender and delicious! I did put the slice of bread on the bottom of the pan to soak up grease, although I don't think it was necessary. Maybe people who have more grease in theirs are putting in more cheese than called for? Anyway, I also sifted out the onion soup and just used the flakes from that. I thought this was just perfect!

Best Big, Fat, Chewy Chocolate Chip Cookie

Reviewed: Feb. 28, 2003
These cookies were everything they promised - big and delicious! They didn't stay as soft as I normally like, but I can forgive it because the overall taste was so great - plenty of chips. Mine did not turn out flat at all.

Peanut Butter Fingers

Yum! These are so good right out of the oven that my family ate half the pan on the spot! Happily, they are also still great the next day. Nice crumbly texture and the perfect blend of peanut butter and chocolate.

Peach Berry Cobbler

This is the first cobbler I have made and it was just wonderful. I couldn't really taste the blueberries though, so I think next time I'll add another cup. Everyone loved this!

Mini Ham And Cheese Rolls

Reviewed: Oct. 1, 2007
These were delicious! I actually used most of the butter mixture on the inside of the rolls and then just brushed the small amount left on the tops. So I didn't have problems with the bread getting soggy or the butter dripping off and making a mess; instead it got too crispy and hard after sitting out for a bit. So, just need to keep them warm to serve and they are perfect!
