Deep south family that loves the four food groups of salt, sugar, caffeine, and fat. Momma was an excellent traditional southern cook.

Cooking for friends and family where it all comes out on time. Wine-making and canning have been my most recent successes.

Doughnut Bread Pudding
This turned out incredibly tasty. I used Krispy Kreme donuts as it was what I had. The texture, flavor, etc. will change depending on what is used. I did not use orange zest nor did I use the water bath and it turned out fine. If my camera worked better, the picture would have been better.

Roasted Okra
This is simply delicious. Even my sweetie, who is not into veggies, enjoyed it. I'll definitely make this again.
