Mediterranean Quinoa Salad

Reviewed: Jan. 13, 2012
This was mine and my family's first time trying Quinoa, and let me tell you this was excellent. I took it on a picnic. It travelled very well and the flavours were amazing! Certainly a must try. Thanks for the recipe.

Mini Meatloaves

Reviewed: Jan. 13, 2012
Love this recipe. I don't add the sauce until the meatloaf is almost done. I prefer to get rid of some of the fat before I add the sauce. After I have drained it I only put a little of the sauce on top and finish cooking. I also double the sauce recipe and put it on the side. This recipe also works well with ground chicken.

No Bake Double Good Dessert

Reviewed: Aug. 30, 2009
I had a bbq that I needed a quick dessert for. Well I found it! This was absolutely out of this world!! I didn't have any whole oreo cookies, so I just used the oreo crumbs and butter to form the crust on the bottom. I was a little concerned because I only had light cream cheese, and light PB But it didn't matter it held up great. I told everyone it was a 'light' dessert! I should have made 2 because everyone wanted seconds! I cant wait to make this again.

Cheesy Baked Cauliflower

Reviewed: Aug. 30, 2009
I was a little unsure about this recipe, however, I was pleasantly surprised. I used a silicone brush and brushed the mayo/mustard mixture to spread it more evenly. I steamed the cauliflower less time, my family prefers a 'crispier' veg. All in all I really enjoyed it. I would certainly make it again! Thanks for the recipe.

Best Spanish Rice

Reviewed: Nov. 18, 2008
I really liked this recipe. I didn't have any salsa the night I wanted to make it so I just added the same amount of crushed stewed tomatoes and some chili powder. It turned out great. My husband loved it. I will certainly make again. Maybe even with salsa next time!

Pork Tenderloin with Mustard Sauce

Reviewed: Feb. 17, 2008
The pork tenderloin was fantastic! I marinated it over night and then some. It was moist and very flavorful. However the mustard sauce was not as good, I tried it and I was quite disapointed. I ended up making my own. I used equal parts mayo, and sour cream. Then I added some grainy dijon mustard, and a little prepared mustard. (mainly for the color). I also chopped up some chives and threw them in. My husband loved it. I made it for valentines and it was a big hit! My husband thought we were eating at a gourmet restaurant!

Egg-Free Dairy-Free Nut-Free Cake

Reviewed: Dec. 21, 2007
I am actually quite surprised that I am giving this 5 stars, but it was well worth it. I have a neighbour who is allergic to eggs, and can never have b-day cake, I made this for her birthday and she just loved it. I use this recipe all the time for my kids school bake sales and parties. You cover quite a few allergies with this recipe! They work great as cupcakes too!! Thanks

Caramel Shortbread Squares

Reviewed: Dec. 21, 2007
These were absolutley wonderful. I don't think I changed anything in the recipe and they turned out great! I did poke holes in the shortbread crust prior to baking it. If you do that make sure you don't poke all the way through. I will make these again and again. Thanks

Buckeye Balls II

Reviewed: Dec. 21, 2007
I have to give this 5 stars! They tasted just like the peanut butter cups you get at the store. I bake A LOT during the holidays, and there are a lot of things to choose from, however these were the first to go! I got the recipe a couple weeks ago and I have already made 4 batches. The only thing I did differently was once they were in the fridge, I just spooned the melted chocolate over them on the cookie sheet. I found that to be much easier, instead of poking each one with a toothpick and then trying to fish them out later. Thanks for the recipe!!

Spicy Oil and Vinegar Bread Dip

Reviewed: Dec. 10, 2006
I loved this recipe!!! I had a dinner party, and I should have only served this! Everyone ate this dip with warm bread, and were so full I had to give everyone their dinner to go. I did not change a thing!! It was perfect!! Make sure you let it stand in the refidgerator, the longer it sat, the better it was. Thanks for a wonderful recipe.

Unbelievably Good Fruit Dip

Reviewed: Dec. 10, 2006
I really liked this recipe, as did everyone who tried it. It was much better the next day. The only reason I gave it 4 stars was because I felt it needed a little more lemon. I Will definatly make again. Thanks

Spinach and Strawberry Salad

Reviewed: May 27, 2006
For someone (loke me) who is not too fond of spinach, this salad was amazing!! My family and friends LOVE it. I would recommend it to everyone. The only thing I changed was the amount of sugar. It was a little sweet for us, so I used a little less. Thanks for the recipe.
