Slow Cooker Fruit, Nuts, and Spice Oatmeal
I think the concept is great, but I didn't like this particular recipe. I think it was the pumpkin spice (which I usually love btw), but the flavors just didnt jive for me at all. It did cook perfectly overnight (about 9 hours) on the warm setting.

Lavonne's Scrumptious White Wine Chicken
This was boring. It was good, just kind of bland and forgetable. I left out the olive oil, it wasn't necessary. And I cooked it at about 350 for 45 minutes and they came out nice and juicy

Shrimp Scampi
Very good. I took the advise of other reviewers and doubled the garlic (yum!) used 1/2 cup wine instead of a full cup. I actually used white zin, because I didn't have any regular white wine (could have sworn I had some..) and it was surprisingly good. I substituted the other 1/2 cup with milk to make it a bit creamier. I also added 1/4 cup lemon juice, and a few tablespoons of flour because I had the same problem as some other reviewers where it was too soupy. It did the trick though, there wasn't a drop left sitting at the bottom of the pan. I used egg noodles instead of angel hair. It was very good and I will be making it again, but next time I'll use half the butter because it was a bit too greasy.
