Spiced Sweet Roasted Red Pepper Hummus

Reviewed: Dec. 2, 2013
Having only eaten hummus once before, I didn't really know what to expect when I made this, but boy am I glad I did!! This stuff was excellent! My husband had never tried it before, and was floored when he tried it. I did add some olive oil when processing it, but this had such good flavor, and really, you can eat it with anything, and we did. I made a yeastless pizza with it, used it for the sauce, topped it with peppers and mushrooms, and couldn't eat it fast enough. Thanks for a great recipe, that'll be made repeatedly.

Slow Cooker Stuffing

Reviewed: Dec. 29, 2012
I decided to make this for Thanksgiving, make it the night before, and save some time. WOW! I'm so glad I did. First of all, the flavor is incredible. As you are adding the broth, just add til moist, then add as it's cooking, if necessary. I like my stuffing moist, and my husband likes it dry, so I removed the lid the last 45 m. or so, and it was perfect. I cooked it on high for 45 m. then low for 4 hrs. Put it all together the night before, added eggs and broth in the morning, and forgot about it! This is the only way I'll ever make stuffing again. Thanks for a great recipe!!

Salsa II

Reviewed: Dec. 11, 2004
Forget about store bought, this IS my salsa recipes from now on. The flavors of this salsa are a perfect blend. It's a bit time consuming peeling the tomatoes, but WELL WORTH the effort. Besides, I just love playing in the kitchen...........anyone wanting to try a new salsa recipe should definitely try this one, and use the canned crushed tomatoes if boiling and peeling seem too time consuming.............YUM

Microwave Oven Peanut Brittle

Reviewed: Dec. 11, 2004
Wonderful flavor and wonderfully easy!!! Everyone that's tasted this absolutely loved it, and those who have asked for the recipe are in awe at the ease of making it. Thanks for another keeper BTW---I have an 1100 watt microwave oven, and I had to make a couple of batches to adjust the time, mine came out perfect at 4 minutes for the first cooking time, and then another 1 1/2 minutes after you add the butter and vanilla. The brittle is also easiser to chew if you let it set for a long time. I make it at night, then eat it the next day.

Bill's Sausage Gravy

Reviewed: Dec. 6, 2004
Like candy!!! When I first made these for my husband, he wasn't even hungry, but after he first tasted them, he filled up with them, and then couldn't wait until he had room for more. And his excuse was that it was just like candy, it was so good. I'm vegetarian so I can't say, but I know the smell was terrific. Thank you so much, I've been told to toss any other sausage gravy recipes. :)
