About this Cook
As a single parent I found it necessary to learn to cook as inexpensively as I could without meals becoming boring.
My cooking triumphs
Having my ham and split pea soup and my rib recipes served in a small local restaurant.
My cooking tragedies
when I was nine my Mom was ill so I made dinner. Decided to make chili as I had seen her make it. As I didn't know about spices I used cinnamon instead of chili powder. My Dad tasted it and was horrified. It ended up down the toilet. On the positive side my brother and I got to have our first fast food hamburgers that night.

Wacky Cake III
made this cake for my grand daughters birthday. Instead of the chocolate for the top I used melted semi sweet chocolate and spread on the top. I chilled it then covered in Dream whip and then added cherry pie filling on top of the dream whip. The children loved it
