Love, love, love this recipe! We recently traveled to Napa and had the most amazing cake at a restaurant in town. This cake tasted just like it! Thanks for posting the recipe.

David's Yellow Cake

Reviewed: May 6, 2009
Wonderful cake. I made this cake along with an Extreme Chocolate cake (filled with Butter Cream Frosting II, regular and chocolate versions) for a cake that I made for Teacher Appreciation week at my son's school. In the thank you to everyone who made something for the lunch, they specifically said that the cake looked and tasted amazing. I think that the tasting amazing part is the best compliment you can get on any cake. They liked it so much that I got a call the next day asking if they could pay us to make an exact replica for a Teacher Appreciation lunch at one of the other schools in town.

Angel Food Cake III

Reviewed: May 6, 2009
I had a bunch of egg whites after making David's Yellow Cake and I wasn't sure what to make. I found this recipe and couldn't have been happier. It's the first time I made an Angel Food cake and it was fantastic! Thanks for posting the recipe.

Brooke's Best Bombshell Brownies

Reviewed: Nov. 23, 2008
This is the best brownie recipes I've ever made. I forgot to rate it after I made it last time, and I didn't know which one it was. I just search allrecipes for the last half hour just to find it. They are fantastic!

Charley's Slow Cooker Mexican Style Meat

Reviewed: Mar. 8, 2008
I made this recipe with pork butt and cooked it for 10 hours on low. I also didn't brown the meat before putting it in the slow cooker (didn't have time for that before work). My husband raved about it! Thanks for posting the recipe and giving the suggestion that you can make it with more than just beef.

Annie's Fruit Salsa and Cinnamon Chips

Reviewed: Dec. 16, 2007
I love this recipe! Several people asked me for the recipe at our Christmas party. The only change I made is I added some lemon juice to make sure the apples didn't brown.

Christmas Wreaths

What a fun holiday cookie. Here are a few suggestions to anyone who wants to make this. Instead of greasing your finger, put a plastic sandwich bag over your hand and it won't stick to you (or the bag). And if you don't like cinnamon candies, use red mini candy-coated chocolate candies.

Chow Mein Noodle Cookie

This takes me back to my junior high home economics class. Yum. Thanks for posting it. I made them with 2 cups of chocolate chips and 1 cup butterscotch chips. My 2 and 4 year olds loved them as much as I did.

Sausage Spanish Rice

Reviewed: Nov. 11, 2007
This recipe was extremely easy to make. I made it exactly as called for and my family loved it. It's not very spicy. If you like spicier rice, you could add some jalapenos. And to add a little more flavor, you could substitute chicken broth for the water. Thanks for the easy good meal!

Rugelach

Reviewed: Jun. 19, 2007
These were a huge hit at the office. For anyone who is having issues with filling falling out, I would suggest pushing the chunky parts of the filling to the outside of the circle (leaving the cinnamon/sugar mixure in the middle) before rolling. This way you can squeeze the raisins/nuts in as you roll. Also if you don't want to make the crescent shape, you can use this recipe to make roulades (exactly the same cookie, just a cinnamon roll-like shape). To do this, roll the dough out either into a rectangle or circle. Then add the toppings. Roll the dough with the filling. Then cut into 1 inch pieces. (Note: If you rolled into a circle, you'll need to cut a 1/4 inch piece off of each end before cutting the 1 inch cookie pieces.) Place seam side down for baking.

To Die For Blueberry Muffins

I made chocolate chip muffins with this recipe. I didn't add cinnamon to the crumb topping. And I followed the other suggestions that other reviewers made regarding the milk and sugar. This is a great base recipe for muffins!

Strawberry/Rhubarb Crumb Pie

I used about 75% strawberries to 25% rhubarb. Very yummy! I love the crumb topping. It's definitely easier for novice bakers.

You could cut down on the saltines by at least half. The recipe also seemed a bit greasy to me.

So this was going to be the first recipe that I rated 4 stars. However, my husband said that this was the best pizza he ever had. So I'm rating it a 5. I guess it just depends on your tastes.
