About this Cook
I love to cook for my family. If I like it, that is one thing but if my family does not, then I move on to something else. Usually, I do not try it again.
My favorite things to cook
Desserts! Everyone likes to treat themselves. I have many secret family recipes. Even some of my own!
My favorite family cooking traditions
adding fat back meat to vegetables. Which I rarely almost never do anymore
My cooking triumphs
I have nearly mastered cooking Indian dishes. With my persistence and help from my sister in law and the local Indian grocery stores :)
My cooking tragedies
Oh gosh...I'm sure there have been many but it's been a while I don't remember.

Keon's Slow Cooker Curry Chicken
it certainly has potential. Since I am an avid cook of and lover of Indian food (hubby is Indian) then it may be unfair for me to pass judgment here. However, if you want quick and easy, I say do this recipe. My guess is everyone should continue their attempts until tweaked to their own perfection/taste. I served with (what else) Basmai rice. Thanks Keon!

Chili Dog Casserole II
My husband and oldest son (17) ate it and said it was OK. I know them..if it were really good they would have said so. What is so puzzling is that my youngest son (9) ate three helpings! And he can be the pickiest of eaters. Perhaps he just liked the hot dog weiners in it. I took the suggestion of others to avoid the refrigerated taste of the hot dog weiner and grilled them first. Although that helped I probably won't be making this again unless I have some heavy eaters over for dinner.

Wilted Spinach with Cherries and Goat Cheese
I was disappointed but I did not try any of the custom versions. I'm sure whoever likes this that tried it did some tweaking. Good luck.
