About this Cook
We have 3 crazy, loving, little boys- ages 11, 8 and 6. I work and my husband stays home- NOT what we planned but it's what life dealt us. I am a regional director of a HUGE prestige cosmetics company. My husband and I have been married for 12 years and he is truly my best friend.
My favorite things to cook
ANYTHING! I love to cook and try to cook something new as much as I can. I get a chance to cook about 4 nights a week. My husband cooks the other two and Friday is PIZZA night.
My favorite family cooking traditions
We love to eat cabbage and noodles at least once a month. It's a horribly decadent little treat that we all LOVE. It is SO good.
My cooking triumphs
I haven't had many BIG deals when it comes to cooking. I like to try new things all the time. My dream would be to run a catering company or even just work for a caterer. It seems like a blessing to make other's functions really special.
My cooking tragedies
JELLO- darn it! Mine never sets.

Mounds(R) Bar Cake
My son absolutely loves this cake. Don't make the mistake I did by adding some cream to the coconut mixture. I got worried when one reviewer called it dry. Mine slides off the cake. Still tastes great. The cake part is decadent. A real treat.

Slow Cooker BBQ Chicken Pizza Soup
My kids LOVED this!! I used sweet Baby Ray's hickory and brown sugar BBQ sauce. This makes a TON. In fact, I have enough for their lunches for tomorrow. It was super easy to make. I didn't deviate from the recipe. I felt like there was a bit too much corn though- but that is easy to fix.

Liquid Vampire
It's very sweet. I am not a fan of sweet drinks but wanted to make this for recipe group and HALLOWEEN!! It's refreshing and the color is great. I used diet cranberry and chambord. Others liked it very much.
