I'm a mom of three little boys, ages four and under, with baby number four on the way! I love to cook and all my men love to eat, so it's a win-win situation at our house.
My favorite things to cook
I can't think of anything that I DON'T like cooking, really. I'm not much on prepping raw meat, but honestly I'm not even sure the butcher enjoys that job.... maybe, who knows. I've never asked.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Every Friday we make homemade pizza. All my boys, (one year old included!) love to sit on the counter and help add toppings and cheese. We also make a pretty mean playdough recipe. :)
My cooking triumphs
We are a hands-on from-scratch family. We almost never ever eat anything from a box. Everything is made from the ground up here, all the way from bread and tortillas to graham crackers, fruit leather, and pasta. We even make homemade dog food and dog treats for our puppy so nothing goes to waste. With three crazy lil' boys and one on the way, Just maintaining a full pantry is my biggest triumph! Although I've been known on several occasions to run out of snacks. It's quite tragic.
My cooking tragedies
I made a sorry excuse for scalloped potatoes as a new bride. My husband graciously ate most of it anyways. I certainly have little failures or sad experiments here and there, but I seem to mostly do ok!
