Japanese Chicken Wings

WOW these are tasty!! I added fresh minced garlic to them, and they were absolutely amazing! Don't skip the breading and browning, it absolutely worth it and makes the flavor!

Really chocolately and delicious!! It does harden up quite a bit if you refridgerate it, so if you want that soft, chocolate frosting make sure if you have refridgerated your cake you take it out well in advance of serving it. Delish!! :)

Homemade Flour Tortillas

These were really good and easy to make. I think they need a little more salt. I also noticed they were very tough the next day, better fresh of the griddle. Good recipe though, thanks!

Pulled Chicken Crescents

My family didn't care for these a whole lot. The bbq chicken and crescent just don't seem to "blend" well together. Maybe they'd be better with chopped onion added. Or better yet, have the plain crescents as a side dish with bbq chicken off the grill.

Crispy Fried Chicken

I have never been able to make fried chicken that wasn't raw on the inside and burnt on the outside...until now! Wonderful flavor, moist, crispy, and thoroughly COOKED! Great instructions on cooking, thanks so much!

Cheesy Vegetable Soup I

Absolutely fantastic! My kids even thought it was the best soup they've ever had. We served it with homemade bread (Amish White Bread from this site) and it was a real comfort-meal. Thanks!

Cheesy Creamed Spinach

Excellent! I didn't use heavy cream (who needs THAT kind of fat?! lol) but replaced it with evaporated 2% milk and it worked just fine. Delicious, especially with a nice filet mignon! :)

Monkey Bread II

Who knew you could make monkey bread without canned biscuits, or with yeast bread for that matter?! Wow, this was like a big, gooey cinnamon roll. And knowing it was 100% homemade was even better!! Thank you sooooo much! :)

Tourtiers (French Pork Pie)

I thought this was going to be sooo dry, but it was REALLY good!! And definately not dry! I will definately make this again, and maybe even experiment with adding veggies to it. Don't be afraid of the cinnamon...it adds a really nice flavor! :) PS: I used the Basic Flaky Pie Crust recipe from this site, I just can't buy pre-made when it's so easy to make!

Lemon Bread

Love this!! It's like a lemon pound cake, absolutely delicious! I did add a touch of vanilla just to give it richness, and I wound up baking it about 10 minutes more than the recipe calls for (but we are also high altitude so that may be why). Wonderful recipe, thanks!! :)

Best Chocolate Chip Cookies

Really good as far as taste goes. However, they got really flat as soon as I took them out of the oven. Next time I'll use baking powder instead of baking soda. It helps keep them from flattening out and they are easier to store (don't fall apart as much). Otherwise, great recipe, thanks!
