Does anyone else enjoy having breakfast for dinner?  We never seem to have time in the mornings, even on the weekends, to make the really good stuff.  I'm talking from-scratch pancakes, bacon, eggs, home-made sausage....stuff that really makes your tummy smile!  Well that's what we're having… MORE

About Me
I'm a mom of 2 boys (yes they keep me VERY busy), a student working on my bachelor's degree online, and a very avid cook.
My favorite things to cook
I love to cook just about anything, from pies and cookies, to gourmet dishes like Chicken Marsala, Rack of Lamb...pretty much everything! (Except liver of course--YUCK!) :)
My favorite family cooking traditions
Thanksgiving is a HUGE deal in our family. It's the time of year when diets go out the window, and everyone enjoys great food and time together.
My cooking triumphs
I guess everytime I discover a new recipe, tweak it to just how we like it, and discover something new to add to our cookbook, it's a triumph.
My cooking tragedies
The worst thing I ever made was a gingerbread loaf cake (I think I actually got the recipe off of this site). My dog, who eats tin cans and motor oil, wouldn't even touch it. It was AWFUL!
