Award Winning Soft Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: May 30, 2011
I made this recipe with the additions mentioned in the comments (2 Tablespoons Vanilla, 1/2 tsp salt and 2 tsp baking powder) and I reduced the chips to 3 cups (1/2 white and 1/2 milk chocolate). And these cookies did NOT last long in this household! They are THE BEST chocolate chip cookies I have EVER had. And I don't usually like chocolate chip cookies. They are too sweet for me. But I promised my son I'd make him some and I shared some with the neighbors. The neighbors brought me packages of chips to make more with less than a week later!!

Spiced Pumpkin Seeds

Reviewed: Nov. 24, 2009
EXCELLENT! These are hands down THE BEST TASTING seeds you'll ever roast and enjoy! I did take the suggestion of some of the reviews and I quadrupled the ingredients for the same 2 cups of seeds. My husband can't get enough of these seeds and my, usually picky eating kids, gobbled them up as well. I will probably never make them any other way. Thanks for sharing!

Bananas 'N' Cream Bundt Cake

Reviewed: Nov. 24, 2009
EXCELLENT!! It definitely came out with the consistency of banana bread. But that was just fine with us! I made it exactly as it says except, upon reading the reviews, I added 2 tsps of cinnamon and I did have to bake it for 60 minutes. Oh, I also didn't have shortening so I substituted an equal amount of butter.

I made a batch of these in half an hour... and that included the time it took to get out all the stuff including the mixer! They came out GREAT! Delicious and soft.

Chocolate Rum Cake

Reviewed: Apr. 28, 2009
Amazingly moist and delicious! I made this cake for my husband's birthday (it was his request) and there wasn't a crumb left! I took the advise of others and used Meyers dark rum. I also poked holes in it before glazing and made it the night prior to the party.

Alaska Salmon Bake with Pecan Crunch Coating

Reviewed: Dec. 27, 2008
I made this for my husband and myself tonight... it was a hit! It did take a little longer to cook the salmon than expected. I followed the recipe exactly and it came out wonderfully. We eat salmon about once a week and this will definitely be one of our regular meals!
