Melt-In-Your-Mouth Meat Loaf

Reviewed: Sep. 30, 2009
This was a good meatloaf. I added extra onions and liquid smoked flavor. Also, I baked at 350 degrees for 1 hour instead of using the crockpot.

Oatmeal Peanut Butter Bars

Reviewed: Sep. 30, 2009
With a few changes these can be a very healthy breakfast/snack. First of all I used honey instead of corn syrup, after that there is no need to add ANY sugar. I also omitted the raisins (just because I'm not big fan of dried fruits) and the chocolate. The coconut gives an amazing flavor, next time I add even more.

Mango Salsa Salmon

Reviewed: Sep. 27, 2009
Delicious! I did not sauteed the onion/garlic, I just prefer fresh and I think it goes better this way. I squeezed a lime in the salsa for more flavor. Also, my husband grilled the salmon, it does give a nicer flavor.

Moroccan-Style Stuffed Acorn Squash

Reviewed: Sep. 26, 2009
I hate to be the only one to say, but this recipe was very bland. I made exactly as written just omitted the celery because I really don't like it. It definitely needs more flavor. I'm sorry but I don't think I would make this dish again.

Chicken Caesar Pitas

Reviewed: Sep. 26, 2009
This was a great recipe! I was trying to make this healthier and lower in fat so I omitted the bacon and instead of using bottled of Caesar, I made Easy Greek Yogurt Cucumber Sauce from this site.

This tzatziki sauce was really delicious. I sherreded the cucumber, but next time I will make it just like Sunnybyrd suggested and put all the ingredients in the food processor, just a preference. Thanks for your recipe!

Orange Citrus Vinaigrette

Reviewed: Sep. 22, 2009
This was a very light salad dressing. I like a lot, very good flavor but I just thought it was a little too much vinegar. I would try reducing the amount of vinegar next time.

Serbian Ground Beef, Veggie, and Potato Bake

Reviewed: Sep. 22, 2009
I made this dish for my husband, I don't eat meat, so this is pretty much his review. He found this dish fantastic, and usually he doesn't give 5 stars that easy. Anyway, I omitted the celery because I didn't have any, but other than that I follow the recipe exactly as is. I want to try this dish with chicken next time. Thanks for the recipe!

BBQ Chicken Sandwiches

Reviewed: Sep. 19, 2009
Great recipe! I made this in my crock pot. I didn't have any steak sauce, so I added worcestershire sauce instead. I also omitted the honey, I'm glad I did because just with the sugar was already very sweet. Also, this chicken freezes really well.

Quick Chicken Soup

Very good basic soup. My son had a cold, so this was a nice soup and he really enjoyed it. I also added a potato and fresh parsley instead of cilantro.

Nonna's Tuscan Salad Dressing

Reviewed: Sep. 17, 2009
Wow, this salad dressing is fantastic, just love it! To cut on fat, I only used 2 Tbsps of organic light mayo and was perfect. As the recipe submitter suggested, I reduced the water to 1/3 cup. You must add fresh garlic, it does give an incredible flavor.

Banana Oat Muffins

These muffins were excellent! I only used 3/4 cup of sugar, but next time I will add only 1/2 cup. I also omitted the topping because the kids prefer without it.

Meatball Spaghetti Sauce

Reviewed: Sep. 15, 2009
Great, hubby and kids loved this recipe. I added 5 cloves garlic and instead of condensed tomato soup I added 1 can of crushed tomatoes and 1 can of tomato sauce. Fresh basil and fresh grated romano/parmesan gave a nice flavor to this sauce.
