About this Cook
My husband and I travel all around the world and love trying new foods and experimenting with our cooking! Being my husband does most of the cooking, I always keep a few tricks and secrets in my cook book to keep him on his toes!
My favorite things to cook
Always going to be a pasta girl and my husband always a meat and potatoes guy!
My favorite family cooking traditions
We really don't have any being none of our parents ever really cooked. We've had to make things up as we go along!
My cooking triumphs
Being able to get over my fear of screwing up a meal. I lived with a chef for a while when I was in my 20's and that always made me nervous. Now both my husband and I will try anything new and if we mess up a meal, there is always a frozen pizza in the freezer for a back up!
My cooking tragedies
We really haven't had one major one yet. My biggest pet peeve is when a recipe calls for a particular amount of time and it takes a few hours more, example different cuts of roast.

Greek Chicken Pasta
I have been waiting to make this for a month, and now I can't wait to make it again!! We just LOVED it!! What a wonderful mix of flavors. The only thing I changed was the fact I didn't have fresh parsley on hand so I had to use dried. My husband and I ate "too much" we liked it so much. I'm already looking forward to trying it as a cold dish over the summer, perhaps adding some olives as suggested. Thank You!

Make Ahead Lunch Wraps
We tried these twice and still didn't like them. The idea is great for a easy and healthy lunch, there just isn't enough flavor for us.

Oriental Cold Noodle Salad
We've made this a few times now, and being we still can't find the Sobe noodles it calls for, we're just using angle hair pasta and everyone has always loved it, never one complaint! Can't wait for the snow to melt and to enjoy this on a nice summer eve.
