About this Cook
I am a 31 year old wife and mother and I take pride in each role. Right now I am serving in the U.S. Army. I have been cooking since I was 9 years old. I enjoy spending time with my family and friends and cooking with my 5 year old daughter.
My favorite things to cook
I don't think there is one thing that I can say I love to cook more than another. I simply love to cook! cooking has become one of the ways I express my love for my friends and family(I know that sounds soooo cliche).
My favorite family cooking traditions
I have a few traditions that I love! of course Christmas, Thanksgiving, and Easter, but I also love weekend cooking. wkends are when I can cook a really nice breakfast and a really nice Sunday dinner. My daughter loves the white china we use for breakfast because she picked them out.
My cooking triumphs
Pecan Pie! I know that might be so simple to most people but I just started introducing myself to baking and even though the recipe I used came from the back of a karo syrup bottle, It was really good! It was a hit with the entire family, especially with a scoop of Byers Vanilla Ice Cream!
My cooking tragedies
MANY.......BUT, that is how I learned to be as good as I am now.

Roast Sticky Chicken-Rotisserie Style
I am giving this 5 stars even though I have not made it yet. I am so excited to make this this coming weekend just from the reviews! I will let you guys know how it turns out!

Open Face Mozzarella Sandwich
This was soooo tasty and light! My children loved it as well. I chopped my basil instead and didnt use olive oil because I used a balsamic vinegar that was made with olive oil.
