Pork Tenderloin alla Napoli

Reviewed: May 4, 2014
Probably will not make again. Did not like with the pork, tried with the chicken and felt it was better, but not as good as expected. Disappointing.

Connie's Zucchini "Crab" Cakes

Reviewed: Aug. 29, 2013
Very good. I used 3/4 cup plain bread cumbs and 1/4 seasoned bread crumbs due to what I had on hand. Followed the rest to a T with the exception of screwing up and mixed the flour with the other ingredients instead of dredging. I will definitely do that always as I have made these several times before as written and they stayed together much better this time and cooked to a beautiful golden brown.

Debbie's Amazing Apple Bread

Reviewed: Apr. 1, 2013
Really good! Super dense and moist so if you love that type of baked good you will love this. Next time I will add nuts because for me I think it would make it even better. Thanks for sharing!! UPDATE - I tried the bread with the nuts and suprisingly I did not like it as much. Made it a third time adding some raisins and absolutely loved the addition. Also increased the cinnamon to 2 tsp.

Roasted Garlic Scalloped Potatoes

Reviewed: Mar. 21, 2013
I was so excited to try this and I was quite disappointed. I guess I really don't like thyme. I cut it in half and still thought it overpowered the dish. Used the Campbells select soup as suggested and didn't find anything special about the taste of that either. Didn't even taste the garlic. I used fat free half and half in place of the heavy cream. Will try again but no thyme, extra garlic and we will see.

Made as written, adding quite a bit more bread crumbs. Whole family liked it, some more than others.

Very good, husband loved but I can't help think I would like it better with something other than the Velveeta, hmmmmm

Restaurant-Style Buffalo Chicken Wings

Reviewed: Feb. 3, 2013
Followed recipe and added the vinegar as suggested by others. Made two batches one with the vinegar and one without and it doesn't make a huge difference but would have to say I like it better with. Also, fried 2nd batch about 5 mins longer to make them extra crispy which we loved.

Tiramisu Layer Cake

Reviewed: Jan. 2, 2013
Five star based on taste. Delicious! Had some issues however. First cake I made fell apart, tried a different brand with 4 egg whites and was fine. Due to time restraints and only having yeti cake pans, I made in two layers only. My filling and frosting were more runny than I liked I think because of adding the extra Kahlua liked suggested so don't know what to do about that

Baked Ham with Pineapple Mustard Glaze

Reviewed: Dec. 25, 2012
Very tasty. Unfortunately I did not have the pineapple slices or the cherries but tried it anyway. Watch it after about an hour and fifteen minutes because I felt the drippings got a little too dark and and I was worried it may taste burnt but got it out in time.

Angela's Awesome Enchiladas

Reviewed: Dec. 24, 2012
Very good! I use store roasted chicken and sometimes use different soup like maybe cheddar cheese in place of the mushroom. Staying in the rotation for sure.

White Bean Chicken Chili

Reviewed: Dec. 22, 2012
Found this while looking for something quick to make. Used part of a store cooked chicken. Used a can of diced tomatoes and a can of diced tomatoes with jalepenos (don't know correct spelling) since I didn't have chiles. I do not have coriander seed so made without. Also canned corn in place of the ears. I thought it was great. Served with a nice crusty bread. Next time I will top with the cheddar cheese I think! Try this!

Best Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 1, 2012
I would give this recipe 5 stars because it certainly is delicious. I don't know if storage was the issue but I was sad to find no real crispness left the next day. Nice and chewy and tasty so I can live with that but would have been most awesome if still crisp on the edges. I stored in an airtight container, maybe should have put in brown bags. Might try baking a little longer next time or uping the temp a little.

Coffee Butter Frosting

Reviewed: Nov. 18, 2012
Tried this as a replacement for my usual mocha butter cream frosting. I took the advice of other reviewers and cut back the sugar to one cup and increased the coffee to 2 tbsp. I think the coffee taste was a little too strong so wouldn't do that again. It was a very light consistency which was nice. I doubled the recipe and was just enough to frost my layer cake. Not sure if I will try this again.

Artichoke Spinach Lasagna

Reviewed: Oct. 14, 2012
Sooo good. Made last weekend and making again this weekend. Whole family loved, only complaint...no leftovers! Used a bag of fresh spinach in place of frozen and as another reviewer suggested added a layer of ricotta mixture (ricotta, egg and mozzarella). Replaced rosemary with italian seasonings due to personal preference. Did not boil the noodles and had no problem being runny.

Pasta Primavera with Smoked Gouda

Reviewed: Sep. 24, 2012
I am sure this wouild just as good following directions but found this and worked with what I had. Actually made 2 pans, one for vegetarian daughter since I added bite sized chicken to ours. Was going to make hers strictly veggies but she requested the morning star "chicken" in hers. Used vegetable broth in place of chicken broth in both. Used diced tomates with basil and oregano in place of stewed tomatoes and didn't have Gouda so used shredded Fiesta blend cheese and kept on low heat covered until cheese melted and served over bow tie pasta. Enjoyed by all!

Quick Alfredo Sauce

Reviewed: Sep. 18, 2012
Used this recipe to make alfredo sauce which another recipe on this site called for. Very easy and although good for my needs, I think I will try another recipe next time. Quick is what I usually need so I may be back. Made with fat free half and half.

Unbelievable Chicken

Pretty good but had to substitute limeade for the lime juice and prepared mustard for the ground. I think it will be better when I have the correct ingredients but definitely was not disappointed!

Terrific Turkey Chili

I have made this recipe numerous times and it is always a big hit. Also have made it vegan by omitting the meat and using vegetable broth instead of beef broth.

Chewy Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Jan. 18, 2012
Add me to the reviewers who were very disappointed in this recipe. The batter tasted so good and I was so excited because chocolate and peanut butter are my thing and I love chewy cookies. I just don't understand how one person makes it and it comes out chewy and my are not chewy at atll. Will not make again.

Dip For The Stars

Reviewed: Jan. 17, 2012
Excellent, only problem, I did not read the recipe through before making and did not divide the ingredients so they were not in two layers of each ingredient as the recipe calls for. Even so was loved by all who tried it but I know it would have been better if made as intended.
