About this Cook
I am a mom to 3, and gramma to 1. I love to cook for my family and friends, and see happy smiles when they've finished the plate.
My favorite things to cook
I grew up with a strong background in Southern cooking, fried chicken, shrimp etouffee, you name it. Lately, I've been more inclined to make those recipes with a healthy twist.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Thanksgiving. With 3 of our family not always home on Thanksgiving, we still make a point to have dinner together, spend the day even if it's on Friday.
My cooking triumphs
I sat down and actually put all my recipes in a book for my children and nieces.

NO YOLKS(R) Noodles Romanoff
A good side dish, however even after doubling the Worcestershire sauce, the taste was a bland mix of sour cream. I would make this one again, but would add more spices.

Shortcut Lasagna
Flavor was good, hard not to mess up on that with bottled sauce. The recipe doesn't specify the type (boil or no boil) noodles, so I used boil type so not much time saved for me. However, my family ate and liked it so we may have this one again.

Ryan's Reverse Popper Dip
This one was "Gone in 60 Seconds"... I did make a few changes because I didn't have any bacon. Fried up some hot Louisiana sausage and added 1/2 Smoked Gouda as I halved the cheddar.
