This was the best corn bread I have made! I followed the recipe exactly as written. I had to cook about 5-7 min. longer.

Maple Walnut Pumpkin Pie

Reviewed: Dec. 1, 2010
I have made this pie a few time now and love it!! I use pecans instead of walnuts and for the maple flavoring I use pure maple syrup. I have also made this without the maple and I honestly can't tell the difference. I always use a graham cracker crust. Great recipe!!

White Chocolate Fruit Tart

Reviewed: May 18, 2010
This was soooo easy and VERY good. Make sure you cool in fridge at least 30 min. before serving. Add fruit to tart right before you serve. I didn't use oranges as they are too juicy and it runs all over. Make sure you spread your dough a little thin so you can cover your whole dish, it rises when you cook it :0)

Sweet and Sour Chicken I

Reviewed: May 18, 2010
This was very good!!! If you love sweet and sour and want to impress anyone at dinner, then this is your dish! I lightly cooked one carrot, a medium onion, one green bell pepper, and one 10 oz. can of chunked pineapple till vegetables were just a little tender but till had bite to them. I then added that to the sauce along with 1 to 2 TBS. of soy sauce. We like to eat it with brown rice and then top with the chicken and cover it all in the sauce. Our new favorite sweet n sour recipe!!!

Grandma's Vegetable Soup

Reviewed: Apr. 9, 2010
This was very good and tasty. I did make some changes. I used V8 juice instead of tomato, cream corn and regular corn, and I added 3 TBS. of butter for richness. I also added a can of diced tomatoes and about 3/4 cup of barley. If it's too thick just add some more juice, broth, or tomato sauce. Very good recipe though!! Thanks!

Creamy Rice Pudding

Reviewed: Jan. 26, 2010
This is a wonderful recipe! I did make a change, I added 1 can of evaporated milk (1.5 c.) and then 1/2 c. regular milk. That makes is a little sweeter and richer. I don't like rasins so I left them out. I sprinkle a little cinnamon on top at the end and it's good to go!!

This was very good but way too sweet. I left out the sugars and it was a lot better for me. I like a little tartness.

To Die For Blueberry Muffins

VERY good! Make sure you use fresh blueberries or you wont get the 5 star results. I used milk but am going to try buttermilk next time. I think it will be fantastic either way!
