To Die For Blueberry Muffins

Reviewed: Jun. 27, 2014
I made this recipe exactly as written and I had two problems. First of all WAY to much topping. I couldn't even use it all. Second, the muffin tops stuck to the pan because the blueberries bubbled out a little. I will say these tasted good but the topping measurements are off and the instructions should have you spray non-stick spray on top of the pan. Otherwise when you take them out of the pan they stick and all the topping breaks off.

These made great holiday treat bags. I made sure I saved enough for us to enjoy too. I made the recipe exactly as written and thought it was perfect.

Moist and Savory Stuffing

Reviewed: Nov. 7, 2012
This is a good basic recipe. I added some pork sausage as that's the way my mom always made it. The sausage added a lot of flavor. Next time I will saute the onion and celery with the sausage. While I was finishing up dinner I put it in the oven to keep warm.

Campbell's® Green Bean Casserole

Reviewed: Nov. 7, 2012
This casserole is a must for our Thanksgiving table. This recipe is similar to the one I use. It was good but I'd skip the soy sauce and use less milk as it was runny.

Swanson® Ultra Creamy Mashed Potatoes

Reviewed: Nov. 7, 2012
We liked these mashed potatoes and yes they were creamy but I did have to add a touch of salt for our liking. Also the ingredients don't mention to peel the potatoes. Of course, I know to do this but maybe a new cook wouldn't. Don't waste the broth, use it to make gravy.

Premium Pecan Pie

Reviewed: Oct. 29, 2012
Warning....before you make this recipe you will need to add 3 eggs, they're missing in the ingredients but directions are okay. My husband loves pecan pie and said this was his favorite. I used pecan pieces as it makes it easier to cut the pie. Make sure you use real maple syrup not the imitation maple pancake syrup.

Crescent Mummy Dogs

Reviewed: Oct. 29, 2012
Cute idea for the kids. I did cook them longer as they were still a little doughy. I used chicken sausages instead of the hotdogs just because I had some in the fridge.

I am a caramel corn lover. This was a very good recipe. I shared this batch with my coworkers because otherwise I could eat the whole batch myself.

Chicken and Corn Chowder

Reviewed: Oct. 17, 2012
I thought this recipe was just okay. I thought the taste of the creamed corn really overpowered the flavor of this soup. Also the soup was on the thin side of being a chowder.

Creamy Basil Chicken

Reviewed: Sep. 26, 2012
We liked this. We thought this was flavorful. I made a few changes I used only 3 chicken breast and after marinating I sliced the chicken so it only takes a few minutes to cook before adding all the other ingredients. I also didn't use all the salt, it doesn't need it.

Easy Weeknight Bacon Mac 'n Cheese

Reviewed: Sep. 24, 2012
I'm not a Mac'n Cheese lover so I'm letting my husband rate this recipe. He gives it a four star rating. He liked it, no complaints really, but it's not his favorite. As far as making the recipe, like the recipe name it was a very easy. I only made a few changes... I used fresh garlic and cooked up the bacon myself. Other than that I followed the recipe exactly. Before baking the Mac'n Cheese it seems very running but in the oven it bubbles into a creamy cheesy consistency.

Cheese-Stuffed Giant Meatballs

Reviewed: Sep. 10, 2012
These mini meat loaves are kid friendly. I served these to my friend's kids and they loved them. I, on the other hand, thought they were just okay. The string cheese in the middle doesn't melt but stays gummy.

Easy Weeknight Chicken Pot Pie

Reviewed: Sep. 8, 2012
I'll give this recipe 4 stars because it makes for an easy weeknight meal as it uses a pre made pie crust, deli roasted chicken and Progresso Recipe Starters Sauce. I didn't make any changes except I did bake on the bottom rack as this helps with cooking the bottom crust when using a glass pie pan.

Mushroom Swiss Burgers

Reviewed: Sep. 8, 2012
I followed the recipe exactly. I can only give this recipe 1 star because the recipe doesn't work. Using the amount of sauce it calls for the burgers are too moist and they don't stay together on the grill. I managed to get one on the bun but the texture and the flavor just wasn't good.

Grilled Sweet Italian Chicken Sausage with Tomato Cream Sauce Over Linguine

Reviewed: Sep. 5, 2012
I made this recipe as given and I can only rate it 3 stars because it needs some tweaking. First of all, 2 minutes to saute 1 cup onions isn't long enough. Also the sauce is too thin and not enough for four servings. Plenty of sausage, just not enough sauce. It doesn't stick to the pasta but sits at the bottom of the bowl. I did however like the al fresco Italian Chicken Sausage as it has a lot of flavor.

Amy's Cucumber Lemonade

Reviewed: Aug. 14, 2012
I made this twice, first time I didn't read the directions and I just sliced up a cucumber and added it to the lemonade. Second time I followed the directions and bended the cucumber into a puree. I have to say it was good both ways. The cucumber really makes for a refreshing drink.
