Good as a bread stick, not very pretzel like.

Banana Pancakes with Flax seed

Reviewed: Oct. 3, 2010
They are a little to moist for my taste, but the flavor was great. I will have to try again with some modifications. The peanut butter syrup was good, but a little chunky. Overall it was alright.

Whole Wheat Vegetable Lasagna

Reviewed: May 1, 2010
I have also used 1 lb of hamburger flavored textured vegetable protein cooked with a 1/4 teaspoon of fennel seeds... meat eaters could add a pound of cooked ground beef or Italian sausage. This is then put in as an additional layer in the lasagna on top of the zucchini.

Israeli Moroccan Couscous

Reviewed: Mar. 14, 2010
It was our first Moroccan Couscous of any type and it just was not that amazing... and the spices were very expensive.

Sweet Potato Burritos

These burritos were good. Next time I make them I plan to add some more veggies to the burrito and some garlic. Over all a tasty recipe.

Creamy Asparagus, Spinach, and Artichoke Pasta

Reviewed: Feb. 13, 2010
This was a very delicious dish. We made it for Valentines Day and thoroughly enjoyed it. Like one of the other reviewers we could not find the arugula and used spinach instead. We also added some garlic, fresh parsley, and red onion to the sauce. We used bow-tie pasta instead of the rigatoni as we liked the look a little better. It made way more than the recipe said it would, the "4" servings were more like 6 or 8. We will make this for a special occasion again.

Amazing Whole Wheat Pizza Crust

Reviewed: Feb. 10, 2010
This crust was good and hardy. I added 1 TBS of garlic, Italian seasoning, and crushed red pepper. I did brown the crust at 500 degrees for 10 minutes and then topped it and cooked it for the additional 18 minutes at 425. I found my crust was still not quite as done as I would have liked. Next time I would probably cook it for 5-7 minutes longer.

Vegan Split Pea Soup I

Reviewed: Feb. 9, 2010
Cooked in Crock pot like we had done with other split pea soups. Found this one to be a bit dry tasting. I would recommend blending about half of the soup in a blender or food processor. We did add the extra water as some others had suggested (12 cups total). In the future I would add more garlic. We like to also put some Tabasco sauce when served, a few drops seems to do the trick.

Naan

Reviewed: Feb. 8, 2010
Very good! We have made the naan a few times now. We have found that leaving it a bit thicker makes it seem a little more hardy. We grilled ours on our BBQ which provided a nice flavor.
