Blueberry Lemon Walnut Bread

Delicious! I used fresh blueberries. I also served with a blueberry sauce: 1/4 cup blueberries, 1 tbsp lemon juice, 3 tbsp water, 2 tbsp sugar. Let it simmer for 15 minutes until it thickens.

Very good! I followed exactly, except I used light sour cream, added 1 tbsp buttermilk to make it super moist, and added a streusel topping ( 2 tbsp ice cold butter diced, 1/4 cup brown sugar, 2 tbsp flour). My coworkers ate this up!

Grandpa's Classic Coney Sauce

I halved the recipe and would be plenty for 6 dogs. I followed this recipe to a T but needs some tweaking. The sauce is too sweet for my taste. Going forward, I am going to eliminate the sugar all together. Instead of ketchup, I am going to use tomato sauce. It also needs some sort of spice component. Maybe red pepper flakes, chili powder, or paprika. I also added about 1/2 cup water to the meat while browning to get it fine.

PBJ Cupcakes - Berry Cupcakes with Peanut Butter Frosting

What a delicious cupcake! Very moist and soft. I didn't have strawberry extract so I just used vanilla. I found some delicious homemade strawberry jam at the farmer's market and used that instead of raspberry jam. Instead of beating the jam into the batter, I folded 1/4 cup in before placing into the cupcake pan. This way it it has streaks of jam running through. After baking, i took a knife and took a little hole out of the middle then I warmed up the other 1/4 cup of jam for 10 seconds in the microwave and filled each cupcake. My peanut butter frosting I used 1/2 cup butter, 1 1/4 cup peanut butter, 1 1/2 cup pwd sugar, and 3 tbsp of heavy whipping cream.

Fluffy Peanut Butter Frosting

This frosting is divine! I probably used about 1 1/4 cup peanut butter and only used 1 1/2 cups sugar. I substituted heavy whipping cream instead of milk to truly make it fluffy! Used on PBJ Cupcakes from website.

Apple Bavarian Torte

Amazing! Great with a scoop of vanilla bean ice cream. I pulsed the crust mixture in my food processor and used ice cold butter. I only used 4 apples, sliced 1/4 inch thick and layered them in concentric circles. I also microwaved the apples 2 minutes before layering. Soooo good!

Fresh Strawberry Upside Down Cake

This cake is amazing!I used freshed strawberries and after I chopped them up, I put them in a bowl and sprinkled a little sugar on them. To crush them, I used a small biscuit cutter and went to town. Worked great. I used big marshmallows and cut them into fours because that's all I had on hand. I baked into a bundt pan and the marshmallows float to the top and make an awesome crunch crust. I also used a 3 oz raspberry jell-o and French vanilla cake mix.

Roasted Red Pepper Cream Sauce

WOW AWESOME!!!! I added steamed broccoli and then after pureeing sauce and before adding into pan, I sauted some chicken with onion and garlic, then added the puree in. Skipped the butter and was still delicious. Added a tablespoon of red pepper flakes.

Dawn's Easy Red Velvet Sandwich Cookies

Delicious! But next time I want to make them bigger, like a tablespoon size or bigger. Because they weren't big and puffy, just flat like a cookie. I used cream cheese frosting recipe from this website instead of the one on here.

Chicken Tinga Tostados

So delicious! I used a can of petite diced tomatoes instead of the regular tomatoes and tasted delicious! You can put that sauce on anything and it will taste good! I spread refried beans on the tostado shell.

Tres Leches (Milk Cake)

This is delicious! I added Kahlua to the cake batter (1tsp) and Kahlua (2 tbsp) and chocolate syrup (2 tbsp) to the milk mixture. To cut down on fat, I used fat-free evaporated and sweetened condensed milk and used free Cool Whip. Also added 1/4 tbsp baking soda to flour mixture. Cake rose beautifully.

Blueberry Sour Cream Coffee Cake

Was so delicious! Used walnuts instead of pecans b/c that's what I had on hand. Turned out great. Topped with a vanilla glaze. Took to work and it was all gone!

Chocolate Mocha Liqueur Cake I

This cake is insanely good. Words can't describe how moist it was. I used dark chocolate cake mix, chocolate pudding mix, mixed in 2 tbsp instant coffee in with the 3/4 cup water, used about 1/3 cup Kahlua, no vodka, used one small container of applesauce and just 1/2 cup veggie oil and I didn't use the glaze. Instead, I used chocolate ganache with a tbsp of Kahlua mixed in. My fiance and our friends loved this cake for his birthday.
