Wonderful! and so easy to make. Finally a recipe I can make that is as good as the brands that we love. Easy and versitile. I have used the dried fruits, different nuts and even butterscotch chips. My kids love all the variations.

Banana Bran Muffins

These are fantastic! I made my own substitutions, and they were great. I used 1 c. flour and 1/2 c. whole wheat flour, vanilla yogurt instead of the milk, 1 egg + 1 T milled flax seed & 3 T water. I also added 1 c. blueberries. My kids loved them, and we loved them too! Healthy & delicious.

These are wonderful, simple to make muffins. My whole family ate them up. I added about 1/2 to 1/3 can whole corn, drained. I also used about 1/4 sugar + 1/4 cup honey. They were fantastic. Will definitely make these again.

Bread Pudding II

Reviewed: Feb. 4, 2008
Easy to make and absolutely the best homemade bread pudding I've had. I made few changes, except for the eggs (used 2 whole and 2 whites of large eggs). Delicious! 10/21/11. Have made several times and it never fails me. My latest version includes a few pecans and chocolate chips. Yum!

Iowa Pork Steak

Reviewed: Feb. 26, 2008
This recipe makes the best pork steaks I've had. I cooked them all day on low in the crock pot after browning them. I used cream of celery soup, and instead of water I used beef broth. I also had a carton of fresh mushrooms, so I used those. Family loved the dinner.

The Best Meatballs You'll Ever Have

Reviewed: Mar. 9, 2009
WOW! these were a huge hit with my family of 6...even the kids thought they were fantastic. I didn't have croutons, but had bread crumbs, so I seasoned them and added to mixture. As someone else mentioned, added the oil + about 1 tsp butter to mixture also. Baked 350 degree oven for 15 minutes, and added to my marinara sauce. Made them into the best meatball sandwiches I've ever had. Thanks for a great recipe.
