Low-Fat Crab Ragoon

Reviewed: Jan. 22, 2010
So the hubby loved it - said I should sell it cause he would definitely buy it - me, personally, I would have a little more flavor - so, me being me, I did add Old-Bay (or J-O), a little more A-1 and a splash of Teriyaki sauce. Served with Teriyaki Rice and Sweet and Sour Sauce over top. Seriously... WOW.

Lemon Crisps

Reviewed: Jan. 22, 2010
These were good; however, came out a little hard. I understand they are crisps, but they were still a little 'snappy' - Next time, I might use a little water. I made powdered sugar icing w/ green food coloring to add a little 'pizzazz'... Other than that, yummy!

Baked Pesto Chicken

Reviewed: Jan. 10, 2010
This chicken was perfect! I used 5 tenderloins, thawed out and then I punctured a few holes in each (front and back) and then marinaded them in the pesto basil sauce for 2 hours. I used Classico Oringinal Pesto and Basil Sauce. It was so delicious. I couldn't believe it! It wasn't overpowering with the 'herby' flavor and it was a hit with the family. I served it with broccoli and Amish Potato Salad (the custom recipe on my page) Thanks so much for sharing!!

Amish Potato Salad

Reviewed: Jan. 9, 2010
Absolutely fantastic! I didn't add the onions or celery and used Bread and Butter pickle juice in place of vinegar, 1/2 cup sugar and flour in place of cornstarch. I added half the dressing first, tossed with celery salt and then 2 hours later added a little more - It tastes like I bought it at a deli! Wonderful receipe!

Chewy Chocolate Peanut Butter Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 28, 2009
Very yummy! However, after the 2nd day, even when stored in a tight container and a piece of bread thrown in to combat drying, they still were dry. Tip: throw them in the microwave for 15 seconds and YUM YUM YUM!!

Sauteed Apples

Reviewed: Dec. 28, 2009
I made this with my daughter and she didn't really care for them. However, my mother loved them! They were a bit rich though. I served them over vanilla bean ice cream and added a little more cinnamon too. Personally, I LOVED THEM. Thanks for sharing!

Ham 'n' Cheese Egg Bake

Reviewed: Dec. 25, 2009
Oh my was this delicious! My husband was previously married and his ex made "Christmas Eggs" - well, my step-son who I have raised since he was 5 always talked about them so this year I decided to start our "own" tradition and this was perfect! Between the two of them, they ate the whole casserol!! Once for breakfast and then they made sandwiches for lunch. It was perfect. Thank you so much for sharing this so we could add a NEW tradition to our Christmas!

Oatmeal Lace Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 25, 2009
I made these for my husband who use to get them as a child from his mom. I had to find the exact recipe and here it was! For Christmas Eve, I made them to specification; however, I did add a little cinnamon and sugar McCormick sprinkle and they were delicious! I baked them for 4 minutes as I have a gas stove and anymore and it would have burned. They were wonderful and my husband was so happy with me :-)
