About this Cook
I've delved into all areas of food but keep coming back to creating fun and new recipes for others!
My favorite things to cook
I love preparing Mediterranean Foods, Pacific Rim, Tapas, using organic foods and especially cooking in the summer when everything is at it's optimal flavor.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Holiday meals- Easter, Christmas Day and New Years Eve. Lamb in the spring, Festive foods and sweets for Christmas, champagne and Portugese Bean Soup at midnight with all the family after the fireworks on New Years!
My cooking triumphs
Catering a friends wedding in 2 days for 300, full appetizer buffet and a sit down dinner all done in very limited facility (her mothers small kitchen) and the guests completely unaware of this logistical nightmare! It went off beautifully!
My cooking tragedies
Few but the most recent memory...overcooking/burning my brother in-laws birthday dinner "BBQ Ribs" and on top of that they were WAY too spicy/hot.

RITZ Push-Cart Hot Dog Bites
One bite sensations! I lived in NY and these brought back some great memories. Did not have yellow mustard so had to improvise and go with the Grainy mustard I had on hand.

RITZ Spicy Asian Chicken Wings
WOW...I served these over the weekend and after 10 min from setting these down they were wiped out. Note to self triple this recipe! Thanks Marion and RITZ.

RITZ "Everything" Bites with Lox and Schmear
Thanks Debbie! Simple and easy! I had some leftover smoked salmon and decided to try these for friends who stopped in last nite and they were a hit. I did one version of the actual recipe and the 2nd version was substituting goat cheese for the cream cheese. Delightful
