About Me
I'm embracing country life, one dish at a time at www.theloghomekitchen.com. Having grown up a city girl, I've had to learn to become resourceful, especially when it comes to cooking and baking. It's been challenging, but I wouldn't trade the beauty and peace for any other place.
My favorite things to cook
Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners with all the trimmings.
My favorite family cooking traditions
I come from a family that loves their meat, especially when it's hot off the outdoor grill. When the weather is nice, we move our cooking outside to enjoy gatherings with friends and firing up good eats on the bbq.
My cooking triumphs
Second helpings at the dinner table.
My cooking tragedies
None I care to recount. There have been many over the years.
