Very simple dinner. We just mixed all together and served in a large bowl with a salad. We made just as stated

Irish Pie

Reviewed: Sep. 26, 2011
This was an interesting twist for us. My daughter liked it which is always a plus. I'm not a big leftover person and I have had it twice now as leftovers. We used red potateos just cause it is what I had on hand.

Slow Cooker Chicken Pot Pie Stew

Reviewed: Sep. 18, 2011
We didn't add all the potatoes cause there wouldn't have been room in my slow cooker. This was a nice warm comfort food type meal.

Nice starting soup but missing something. Maybe corn or red potatoes instead.

Ham, Potato and Broccoli Casserole

Reviewed: Sep. 8, 2011
We all really enjoyed this. It was easy to make. We used shredded hashbrowns instead of french fries because this is what I had. Otherwise made exactly how they stated

Skillet Herb Roasted Chicken

Reviewed: Sep. 7, 2011
This was okay but nothing great. Followed directions exactly. Won't try again though, too many other recipes to try, why mess with a bland one

Beef Florentine

Reviewed: Sep. 6, 2011
My dad liked it so that gives any recipe 5 stars. as suggested by someone else I just mixed the noodles, sauce, meat, spinach, and cottage cheese together in a pan. I baked for 15 minutes then covered with the mozzarella and baked ten more. We like spinach but if you don't I'm not sure this is your recipe

Scrambled Egg Muffins

Reviewed: Sep. 6, 2011
I made these as a different reheat breakfast. They were super simple to make and really good. MY daughter loved them both fresh and as reheated leftovers the next morning. I added a bit more garlic then called for but that is just a personal taste. I also left out the peppers because we aren't a big fan of them

Apple Crisp III

Reviewed: Sep. 5, 2011
Very simple to make. I doubled it and made it in a 9 x 13 pan instead. I totally messed up the topping though. I just mixed everything up together at one time.

Sara's Iced Coffee

Reviewed: Sep. 5, 2011
I made this with milk but otherwise followed the directions. It is really good. Very much like what I would get at Mcds or other places. I made a whole pitcher and see how is holds up. I also like I could use calorie free sweetener and skim milk to make it better for me.

Peanut Butter/Chocolate Chip Cookie Bars

Reviewed: Aug. 22, 2011
They were very simple to make which is what I was looking for in a quick dessert to make with my daughter. We didn't care for them at all. we followed the recipe exactly but used peanut butter as some one suggested. It just turned out too sweet and not a very nice texture either. Might be something I did but I won't be trying these again

Colleen's Slow Cooker Jambalaya

We loved it. Even my fuzzy daughter ate it. It does make alot. We had it for two meals and still had some lunch leftovers. Made with corn bread and it was the perfect dinner to go with an all day marathon of Swamp people on History

Bean Soup

Reviewed: Aug. 15, 2011
I made just as the recipe stated and my dad loved it. He had been bugging me to try and make bean soup for months. This was a simple recipe. I found it a bit salty and will be adding another bag of beans and more water to the leftovers but that was the ham and not the recipe as other then the salt on the ham I didn't add any. I did end up using a good bit of black pepper though.

These were so easy and even my daughter ate two, which is a big deal. i ended up doubling the sauce because my daughter helped and didn't realize I was trying to cut the recipe in half. I did add a little more garlic cause we love garlic in my house. will be making again.

Cheeseburger and Fries Casserole

Reviewed: Jun. 23, 2011
This was really yummy. I didn't make in a 9 x 13 pan because I cooked the meat in a cast iron frying pan I could put right in the oven. For people that say the mushroom soup taste odd you really must use the golden mushroom as it is a really different taste. I had no problem with soggy fries but you really need to make sure the meat mixture is well heated

Cornish Game Hens with Garlic and Rosemary

Reviewed: Jun. 5, 2011
They were veery simlpe yet really fancy. I took others suggestions and doubled the sauce. We served with mashed taters and peas. Even my daughter loved them. Only thing is next time I would only do two. i'm not sure if we just don't eat alot or what but it was way to much for any of us to eat. Have two whole left to make pot pie with.
