I am living with my wonderful fiancé the embraces and encourages me to cook. I have a real passion for trying new things and cook and I am truly blessed to find a man that encourages that. I have the most amazing daughter that loves me and understands my crazy.

I love make peoples favorite food, even if it is all new. I just love trying new things and that great feeling you get when a new recipe becomes a new favorite
My favorite family cooking traditions
I love cooking breakfast with my dad. It is just a fun time and a bunch of goofing off that ends with a meal that makes ya wanna take a nap.
My cooking triumphs
my dad taught me to make lasanga when I was really young. In the last few years I have worked on it and now my dad refuses to make lasanga because he says mine is better
My cooking tragedies
I have had many but you know it is bad when the dog won't eat it. I once made chili and got a bunch of my friends sick from it

Slow Cooker Split Pea Soup with Bacon and Hash Browns
I had never made split pea soup before and my hunny was going on and on about his exs. So of course I had to find a recipe. He really like this, I made almost as stated above, He isn't in to runny soup so I cut the broth back by about 2 cups. It made the soup thick and stick to your ribs. I also omitted the red pepper flakes since I was out. Is only suggestion was to add a bit more salt as he felt it was lack, I may have been a little lite with it during the cook because of the broth and bacon. Will be making again with maybe a touch more salt in the cooking time. Mine was in the crock pot for 8 hours on low and then another hour or so on warm.

Pork Schnitzel with Dipping Sauce
These were really yummy and we did add a bit more broth just to make a bit more sauce. Make sure you completely remove from the stove. I just turned the burner off and the sauce was nasty for our seconds

Antipasto Squares
I like these better after they had cooled and been refrigerated over night. I was prepping for a party and totally forgot to add the red peppers but even still they were good
