Sriracha-Lime Popcorn

Reviewed: May 10, 2014
This was AWESOME!!!!!! I popped the popcorn in my air popper, but that was my only change. Great combo of flavors...salty, tangy and buttery with a nice kick, but not too spicy at all. My little guy said this was 5 stars after one bite, lol! This was a HUGE hit for our weekly 'dip night'...I will def be making this again and again~YUM! Thanks, ellie, for sharing this wonderful recipe. :)

Alexa's Gourmet Grilled Cheese

Reviewed: May 7, 2014
What's NOT to LOVE?!?! I had some beautiful tomato basil bread, so I used that, and, of course, I couldn't resist adding bacon, which made this over the top yummy! Great combo of flavors....this is a sandwich I will be making again and again! Thanks for sharing. :)

Grilled Cheese De Mayo

Reviewed: May 6, 2014
I LOVE grilled cheese sandwiches, especially when they are made different from the usual, and I LOVED this one! Made just as written, except I used light mayo, which I was unsure if it would brown properly, but it was fine. The combination of cheese was wonderful and provided just the right amount of 'kick'. Using the mayo is a great idea and a great alternative to when you have no butter or it's too cold to spread. Thanks, SHORECOOK, for the delicious sanwich idea~YUM! :)

Creamy Penne Pasta Primavera

Reviewed: May 6, 2014
Delicious! I omitted the carrots (didn't have any on hand) and added in sliced mushrooms, red pepper and a little fresh spinach that I had to use up along w/ the spinach and tomatoes. I used more than 1 clove of garlic, and just eyeballed the cheese until the sauce was the thickness that I wanted. The whole family gobbled this up! This is a great recipe to make when you have a lot of odd and end veggies in the fridge that need used up. I will def be making this again~YUM! Thanks for sharing. :)

Marge's Margaritas

Reviewed: May 5, 2014
These were pretty good! Maybe I'm a wimp, but this was VERY strong(I thought it was just me, but then when hubby mentioned it, I knew it just too much) ...I would reduce the amount of tequila next time, for our personal tastes. I still prefer regular margaritas w/ lime, but this was nice for a change. Thanks for sharing. :)

Sweet and Savory Broccoli Salad

Reviewed: Apr. 29, 2014
Delicious! I was nervous about adding the raisins, but I'm glad I did b/c it gave a nice texture to the salad, and a little extra 'pop' of sweetness. Hubby really enjoyed this too, but the little guy...not so much. I will be making this again! Thanks for sharing. :)

California Club Chicken Wraps

Reviewed: Apr. 29, 2014
Made this for Recipe Group...LOVED IT! I totally forgot to add the tomatoes (oops), but it was still delicious! Also, I used some spinach that needed used up instead of the lettuce and used the submitter's suggestion of making the chipotle ranch sauce instead of the mayo, b/c I thought it would taste better once it was heated. After I put the wrap together, I sprayed it w/ cooking spray and put it in a hot pan to brown/crisp up the tortilla and warm the inside....soooo good! I made this for myself for lunch today, but I will be making them for dinner for the family very soon! Thanks for sharing. :)

Caesar Potato Salad

Reviewed: Apr. 25, 2014
This was good! I used Yukon gold potatoes, b/c that's what I had on hand, and I peeled and cubed them up before putting them in the oven, so they would be easier for the kids to eat. I used a more dressing than called for b/c I felt it needed it. This was a nice change from the usual, and I would make it again! Thanks for sharing. :)

Spinach and Strawberry Salad with Feta Cheese

Reviewed: Apr. 24, 2014
Delicious! I couldn't resist adding some red onion, but that was my only change. The dressing is fantastic (I made it earlier in the day and put it in a jar, so I could shake it every so often to dissolve the brown sugar). Great flavor combo and easy to make with ingredients I usually have on hand. Nice and refreshing, this is a keeper~YUM! Thanks for sharing. :)

'Anything Goes' Easy Black Beans

Reviewed: Apr. 23, 2014
Delicious! I liked how these were different from the usual way that I prepare black beans. I kept them thicker, and served them as a side to 'Chipotle Beef Tostadas' from this site. We gobbled these up, and hubby asked to take the leftovers to work tomorrow, which makes these a keeper in my book~YUM! Thanks for sharing. :)

Chipotle Beef Tostadas

Reviewed: Apr. 23, 2014
Made this for Recipe Group...If I could give this more than 5 stars, I would! I accidentally picked up chipotle sauce instead of chipotles in adobo sauce (they are in the same can), so I just omitted the water and used 1/2 can of that, which worked out great! The guys could not get enough of these...they kept saying how delicious they were, and hubby even said it is one of his new favorites (this is HUGE, lol). I served these w/ all the topping that usually serve with our tacos. This is a definite keeper, that I know I will be making often~YUM! Thanks for sharing. :)

Dessert Quesadillas with Peanut Butter, Chocolate, and Marshmallow

Reviewed: Apr. 23, 2014
Really fun and yummy! The kids LOVED these. I used mini marshmallows, and they melted nicely. I lightly buttered the outside of the tortilla before putting it in the pan to get a nice, golden color (also added an extra layer of flavor). I always have extra tortillas on hand, and now I know what to do with them! Thanks for sharing. :)

Tortellini in Chicken Broth

Reviewed: Apr. 22, 2014
For as simple as the ingredients are in this soup, it is really, REALLY good! I do love my cream-based soups, but this was nice and light, and I actually felt good eating it! I did not have watercress on hand, so I used spinach, which worked great in this and only regular chicken broth (no low sodium on hand), but I didn't find it salty at all. I may add some mini meatballs next time, just because I think they would be yummy in this. I doubled the recipe. This is simple, fresh and delicious...a definite keeper~YUM! Thanks for sharing. :)

Carrot Cake with Pineapple Cream Cheese Frosting

Reviewed: Apr. 20, 2014
Delicious! Made this in 2-9" round pans (cooled completely before removing from pans). I also made extra frosting, so I could use it to pipe borders (I did omit the salt from the frosting). Everyone raved over dessert tonight...this cake is a definite keeper~YUM! Thanks for sharing. :)

Pizzagaina

Simple and delicious! I only made 1 pie, so I halved all the ingredients, which worked out great. I'm used to having/making this w. bread dough, so I wasn't sure about using pie crust, but I was pleasantly surprised. I will be using this recipe again and again~YUM! Thanks for sharing. :)
