Reviewed: Sep. 19, 2013
This was AWESOME!!!! I actually only had enough stuffing to make 1, and of course, I overcooked the egg, lol, but it didn't matter...this was delicious...soooo tasty and flavorful. I can't believe I never thought to do something like this...so creative! This is a definite keeper~YUM! Thanks for sharing. :)

Sausage Pepper Bread

Reviewed: Sep. 18, 2013
Awesome! I added some minced garlic in w/ the sausage mixture while it was browning for extra flavor. Also, I used a springform pan and did have to bake this longer than stated. Super tasty and a huge hit...a definite keeper~YUM! Thanks for sharing. :)

Haluski - Cabbage and Noodles

Reviewed: Sep. 18, 2013
Delicious! my recipe is similar to this, but I've never baked it. I did cut the butter by 1/2 and replaced it w/ a bit of olive oil. Also, I baked it covered for a bit b/c I didn't want it to dry out...it came out moist and yummy. This is serious comfort food~YUM Thanks for sharing. :)

Bacon Wrapped Bananas

Reviewed: Sep. 17, 2013
I thought these were different (in a good way), little guy thought they were just ok, and hubby didn't care for them. I liked the soft banana with the crispy bacon, but I think that's what turned hubby off (he has a thing w/ textures). I would probably make these again for myself if I had extra ingreients around to use up, but I wouldn't go out of my way. Thanks for sharing. :)

Bacon-Wrapped Jalapeno Poppers

Reviewed: Sep. 17, 2013
We loved these! Mine did take longer to cook, than stated (about 40 mins. or so), but other than that, they were great. I added a bit of garlic powder to the cheese mixture, just because. I was glad to use up some jalapenos from the garden...I will def be making thiese again~YUM! Thanks for sharing. :)

Orange, Fig, and Gorgonzola Salad

Reviewed: Sep. 17, 2013
I've been eyeing my dad's fig tree waiting to get the perfect fig to make this salad...delicious! I didn't have any fresh oranges, so I used mandarin oranges, and they worked out fine. Topped this w/ raspberry vinaigrette...all of the flavors went wonderfully together. I think next time I'll add a bit of red onion too. I will def be making this again~YUM! Thanks for sharing. :)

Chicken BLT Sandwich

Reviewed: Sep. 17, 2013
I had a box of chicken breast patties in the freezer, along w/ some cooked bacon and leftover hamburger buns in the fridge...this was PERFECT and DELICIOUS! I made chicken sandwiches from frozen patties before, but I don't know why I never thought to add bacon and all the other yummy toppings. I did forget to add the cheese, but I don't think anyone missed it. These were a huge hit w/ the whole family...a definite keeper~YUM! Thanks for sharing. :)

Cranberry Thanksgiving Turkey Sandwich

Reviewed: Sep. 17, 2013
LOVED this! I look forward to Thankgiving leftovers just so I can make this sandwich the next day (except I also add stuffing). I really never think to make this any other time of year, but I should b/c I absolutely love the tart/sweet with the turkey, crunchy lettuce and creamy mayo. Great sandwich..YUM, YUM, YUM!!!!! Thanks for sharing. :)

Wickwire Guacamole

Reviewed: Sep. 17, 2013
For as simple as this is, I really liked it! I liked the bit of sweetness and lightness of it. This would make a wonderful sandwich/burger spread, but I was dipping pretzels in it, and that was great too...I will def be making this again! Thanks for sharing. :)

Randy's Amazing Avocado Dip

Reviewed: Sep. 17, 2013
This was very good! I scaled the recipe back to use just one avocado, but I did not put all of the green salsa b/c I was afraid it would be too watery, so I just kept adding it until it was the consistancy that I was looking for. This had a really nice flavor...I will be making this again! Thanks for sharing. :)

Crab-Stuffed Corn Muffins

Reviewed: Sep. 16, 2013
These were good, but a bit on the bland side. The filling was really good, but I think that the corn muffin part needed more salt/flavor. These were really easy to make and I do like the idea, so I will play around w/ them. Thanks for sharing. :)

Old Mama's Fashioned Chili

Reviewed: Sep. 16, 2013
This was good! I couldn't bring myself to add all of the bean liquid, so I did drain the beans, but I did not rinse them. I also chopped the stewed tomatoes to make it easier for the kids to eat, and ended up adding a 15oz. can of tomato sauce to make it more 'red'. This thickened up great and had really nice flavor. Very easy to make...I would make this again! Thanks for sharing. :)

Chocolate Hockey Pucks

Reviewed: Sep. 16, 2013
The best of both worlds! I used candy making chocolate instead of chocolate chips b/c I like the flavor better, and it sets up nicer for me. I drizzled the tops w/ extra chocolate and added sprinkles to 1/2, just for a prettier appearance. These were super simple to make and very tasty...a definite keeper~YUM! Thanks for sharing. :)

German Roasted Nuts

Reviewed: Sep. 14, 2013
Made these for Recipe Group...We LOVED these! I did use whole almonds in place of the cashews b/c they are more affordable for me to buy (they worked out great!), but followed the recipe otherwise. I did end up adding more cinnamon sugar to get a better coating on them, so they wouldn't be sticky. These really came together quickly, and would be wonderful to give as gifts. I will def be making these again~YUM! Thanks for sharing. ;)

Waffle Nachos

Reviewed: Sep. 12, 2013
What's not to love here??? We love stuff like this, so I knew this was gonna be a winner. Instead of melting the cheese in the microwave, I just threw the whole thing back into the oven to melt/warm, because I had the oven on already, anyways. These were perfect dipped into 'Sour Cream Supreme'. Another keeper~YUM! Thanks for sharing. :)

Sour Cream Supreme

Reviewed: Sep. 12, 2013
Loved this! I only had about 1/2 cup sour cream on hand, so I used that and added everything else accordingly. Love the curry flavor in this...Made a great dipping sauce for the 'Waffle Nachos'. A definite keeper~YUM! Thanks for sharing. :)

Tortellini Chowder

Reviewed: Sep. 12, 2013
Delicious! I only had yellow bell pepper, so I used that. After the potatoes cooked in the broth, I added the tortellini right in there to cook, instead of dirting another pot (yes, I'm lazy, lol). When they were just about done, I added in the corn and 1/2 & 1/2. I thickened w/ Wondra flour instead of the flour/oil mixture. I didn't find this bland at all, we thought it was very flavorful. This was a wonderful, different soup that I will be making over and over~YUM! Thanks for sharing. :)

Primanti-Style Sandwiches

Reviewed: Sep. 11, 2013
This was delicious, but I have to agree w/ the other reviewer's that said the slaw was all wrong...Primanti's does use a vinegar based slaw, not mayo based. This was still very good, and everyone really enjoyed them for dinner tonight. I would def make these again~YUM! Thanks for sharing. :)

Grilled Turkey Cuban Sandwiches

Reviewed: Sep. 10, 2013
Delicious! This was a last minute lunch plan, so I did cheat a bit, lol...Instead of using a fresh turkey breast, I used Butterball sliced turkey from the deli, mixed the oil, garlic, cumin, salt and pepper together in a bowl and brushed the bread w/ it before proceeding w/ the recipe. This was fantastic, so I can only imagine making it w/ the roasted fresh turkey breast, which I plan to do next time. Great combo of flavors...This recipe is a keeper~YUM! Thanks for sharing. :)

Betty's Salad

Reviewed: Sep. 10, 2013
Delicious! I only had spinach and no bean sprouts, ao I just added in some sliced onion. The dressing is soooooo good, I swear I could've drank it, lol! This reminded me a lot of when we were younger and my mom would make spinach salad, only she used bottled sweet n' sour dressing. I cannot wait to share this recipe w/ her...a definite keeper~YUM! Thanks for sharing, sass! :)
