Bacon Wrapped Sausage

Reviewed: Jan. 1, 2014
These were really good! Made as written, but suggest you watch them in the oven as mine were staring to burn before an hour. Everyone enjoyed them...I just wish I could have gotten a better pic, lol. I would make these again! Thanks for sharing. :)

Knorr Spinach Dip

Reviewed: Dec. 31, 2013
This is definitely a staple in our family, too (though I've never made it, myself, my aunt has always been the designated spinach dip maker, lol). I decided to try and make it today, and it was soooo easy to mix up. I did only have 1 box of frozen spinach, so I went with that, but I will def use 2 boxes next time. Great, classic recipe~YUM! Thanks for sharing. :)

Wonton Soup With A Kick

Reviewed: Dec. 27, 2013
LOVED this soup! I'm lazy, so I just threw the wontons in the broth, and that worked fine for me. I also added a bunch of green onions that I finely sliced. I could see making this w/ rice noodles too. Really great flavor...a definite keeper~YUM! Thanks for sharing. :)

Quick Garlic Aioli

Delicious! Made as written and would not change a thing. Be sure to allow this to sit in the fridge for a few hours to allow the flavors to blend. I will def be making this again~YUM! Thanks for sharing. :)

Sopranos Style Tiramisu

Reviewed: Dec. 21, 2013
I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this recipe! This is the only way that I make my Tiramisu. Sometimes I use cocoa powder in place of the grated chocolate. What originally attracted me to this recipe many years ago, was that it does not use eggs...This is the BEST! :)

Best Oyster Chowder Ever

Reviewed: Dec. 16, 2013
Delicious! I used more of all the veggies than called for (except the onion), so I doubled the cooking water to 2 cups and that worked out great. I used canned oysters, and was very happy with how tender and flavorful they were. The recipe didn't specify when to add the liquid from the oysters, so I just added it when I added the veggie cooking liquid and milk. Season with salt and pepper, and all of the flavors come together beautifully. This is a very tasty, simple soup, that I will be making again and again~YUM! Thanks for sharing. :)

Easy Authentic Mexican Rice

Reviewed: Dec. 13, 2013
This was tasty! I really liked the toasty flavor that cooking the spices and rice added to the finished dish. I do think it was a tad 'greasy', but it wasn't too much so. Mine also took longer than 15 mins. to cook, which was not a big deal. This does need salt, IMO. I just used it, to taste. All in all, it was a basic, simple rice, which was what I was looking for. I would make it again! Thanks for sharing. :)

Super Tex-Mex Chicken Chop Salad

Reviewed: Dec. 12, 2013
Very good! Though the ingredient list seems a bit long, it is really easy to throw together. The only thing that I would do differently next time is add some chopped green onions, as I felt it was missing that extra flavor. I made homemade ranch for this, and that was nice. I would make this one again! Thanks for sharing.:)

Walnut Blue Cheese Artichoke Salad

Reviewed: Dec. 8, 2013
Very nice salad! I toasted my walnuts to bring out the nutty flavor, and used an Italian style dressing. I only had regular black olives on hand, so I used those. Simple and tasty! Thanks for sharing. :)

Eggnog Cupcakes

Super simple and delicious! I got 21 cupcakes out of the batter, and accidentally used a whole 8oz. cream cheese in the frosting (oops), but it worked out fine. Everyone I shard these with today loved them...a definite keeper~YUM! Thanks for sharing. :)

Lewis' Midwestern Sausage Gravy

Reviewed: Dec. 6, 2013
Very good! I halved the recipe, but it was too thick, so I ended up just adding more milk...closer to 4 cups for 1/2 recipe. This was lacking salt, so I added that. All in all, this had nice flavor w/ the sausage and the sage, and a nice, peppery taste that we all enjoyed. I served this over homemade biscuits and scrambled eggs. I would make this again! Thanks for sharing. :)

How to Make Cream Biscuits

Reviewed: Dec. 6, 2013
These are one of the best and easiest biscuit recipes that I have ever made or eaten! Do keep an eye on them in the oven b/c after 9-1/2 minutes, my bottoms were just on the verge of burnt (my oven temp is spot on too), so I'm thinking maybe it had something to do with using foil? Other than that, these are fantastic! So flavorful, tender and moist. I WILL be making these often, but reducing the cooking time accordingly~YUM! Thanks for sharing. :)

Reviewed: Dec. 4, 2013
Delicious! I have made something similar to this in the past, but never with DARK brown sugar...it really gave this a nice depth of flavor. This will look beautiful packaged in Christmas tins to give for small gifts. I will be making many more batches~YUM! Thanks for sharing. :)

Carrabba's House Salad Dressing

Reviewed: Dec. 3, 2013
Great dressing! As written, it is a bit on the thicker side, but that's easy to remedy by just adding more buttermilk. This had a really nice flavor. Would also be great as a dip for chicken tenders/wings or even bread sticks. I will def be making this one again~YUM! Thanks for sharing. :)

Leftover Turkey Nachos

Reviewed: Dec. 1, 2013
Made this for Recipe Group...We loved this! The only complaint is that once it starts to cool, and that happens quickly, it gets super thick. Next time I plan to do this in my mini slow cooker, and that should do the trick. I will def be making this again~YUM! Thanks for sharing. :)
