Craisin®, Almond, and Feta Chicken Salad

Reviewed: Jul. 18, 2014
This was good! I liked the variety of flavors and textures in this. Do not leave out the cranberries, as it added a nice sweetness to break up all the savory going on. The toasted nuts was a great addition too. I would make this again! Thanks for sharing. :)

Savino's Herb and Olive Chicken Salad

Reviewed: Jul. 18, 2014
This was good, but it needed something more... I cut the recipe down and still used more herbs and onion than called for. This would've been nice w/ a splash of lemon juice added or a nice drizzle of evoo at the end, or both! All in all, it was good for something different. Thanks for sharing. :)

Sriracha Scrambled Eggs

Reviewed: Jul. 18, 2014
Made this for my little guy for breakfast this morning (he LOVES all things spicy), and he LOVED them! We didn't measure the sriracha, I just let him squirt some in (it was maybe 1-2 tsps.). He said these tasted really good and were just a bit spicy. He also said that he would like to have these for breakfast again and it was 5 stars from him, lol. Thanks for sharing. :)

California Clam Chowder

Reviewed: Jul. 17, 2014
This was good! I did reduce the butter and cornstarch by 1/2, as it seemed a bit too much for me, and that worked fine. It was the perfect thickness for us. This had a subtle, but nice flavor. This is not gonna replace our favorite clam chowder, but we all enjoyed it, and I would make it again! Thanks for sharing. :)

Bang Bang Shrimp® Rival

Reviewed: Jul. 14, 2014
I've never had this before, so I don't really have anything to compare it to, but we LOVED this! Great flavor and fairly easy to make. I just sprinkled the cilantro over top b/c my little guy isn't a fan of it. Other than that, I followed the recipe exactly. I will def be making this again~YUM! Thanks for sharing. :)

Blackened Steak Bites with Blue Cheese Sauce

Reviewed: Jul. 13, 2014
We LOVED this! I also skewered the beef and cooked it on the grill. The blue cheese sauce was a great for dipping, although the meat was soooo good, that it really didn't need it. Keep in mind that the sauce thickens up really fast, so make it right when you are ready to eat, or you could reheat it if needed. I will def be making this again~YUM! Thanks for sharing. :)

Frozen Peanut Butter Pudding Squares

Reviewed: Jul. 13, 2014
Made these for Recipe Group...We really loved these and I was thinking of other flavors to try, like banana pudding w/ the peanut butter. These were so simple to make. In fact, I'm gonna need to make another batch real soon...we are devouring these~YUM! Thanks for sharing. :)

Red and Sweet Potato Salad

Reviewed: Jul. 11, 2014
This was a nice change from the usual potato salads. I did not cube the potatoes before boiling b/c I have better luck when I keep them whole. I also peeled the sweet potato, which it doesn't say to in the recipe, but I thought they should be. The flavor was really nice...the slight sweetness from the sweet potatoes w/ the tang from the horseradish and spicy mustard, and, of course, the bacon! I did measure the horseradish and spicy mustard, but eyeballed everything else. I would make this again! Thanks for sharing. :)

Fantastic Onion Ring Batter

Reviewed: Jul. 11, 2014
We LOVED these! This is not the light, crispy batter that is usually found on onion rings, but a more heavy batter (still crispy), which we really enjoyed! The only change I made was to add 1/2 tsp. garlic powder to the batter, which was a great addition. I also did a few slices of zucchini to see how it would turn out, and it was equally as delicious! I will def be using this recipe for o.rings (AND fried zucchini) again~YUM! Thanks for sharing. :)

Falafel Cobb Salad

Reviewed: Jul. 8, 2014
AWESOME! I really LOVE this take on the traditional cobb salad! I made my own falafel using 'Pan-Fried Falafel' from this site, and it was great. I made the falafel pretty small and cut them in 1/2 before putting on the salad so it would be easier to eat. I couldn't fit the feta in a row on the plate (it was too full, lol), so I just sprinkled it over top the falafel. I really, REALLY enjoyed this salad and so did my girls...I will def be making this again~YUM! Thanks for sharing. :)

Bacon Wrapped Artichoke Hearts

Reviewed: Jul. 8, 2014
These were tasty! I only had canola oil, so I used that, but to be fair, the recipe submitter says they taste way better when frying them in peanut oil, which I had none of, so I just went w/ what I had and they were fine. I only had a few artichokes to use up, so I made a small batch. These would be wonderful w/ some sort of dipping sauce. I plan to try these again using peanut oil to fry and making a sauce for dipping. Thanks for sharing. :)

Sausage, Artichoke, and Roasted Red Pepper Ravioli from Hatfield®

Reviewed: Jul. 7, 2014
DELICIOUS! I had some ricotta cheese to use up, and stumbled upon this little gem. Though I've never made homemade ravioli, I thought I'd make these and freeze them for another time, but, of course, I had to boil a few to taste and they were excellent! After cooking the sausage and allowing it to cool, I chopped it fine and mixed it with the other ingredients, also adding a bit of garlic powder and parm. cheese. Also, after seeing how much filling was there, I decided to double the dough recipe and that worked out great (I actually think I could've tripled it, as there was still some filling leftover), but I will know for next time. Remember to allow the dough to 'rest'...I let it set, covered, for about an hour, and that made the dough so soft and pliable. I rolled the dough out using a pasta machine, which made this super quick. Though mine did not look like the photo on the recipe, these were awesome and I can't wait to eat the rest. I think they will be great w/ an alfredo sauce~YUM!!!!! These are a keeper...Thanks for sharing. :)

Bloody Mary Tomatoes

Reviewed: Jul. 6, 2014
These were very good, and so easy to make! After mixing it up and tasting it, I liked it, but I usually add a bit or worcestershire (sp?) sauce, tabasco sauce and garlic powder to our bloody mary's, so I did put a bit of each in this, which made it REALLY taste like a the bloody mary's that we're used to. Hubby really enjoyed this...I will be making this again! Thanks for sharing. :)

Best-Ever Cucumber Dill Salad

Reviewed: Jul. 6, 2014
We LOVED this! I used baby cukes (maybe 4), extra sour cream in place of the yogurt b/c I had none on hand and omitted the celery (personal preference). I can't believe it, but I totally forgot the vinegar in this, lol, but it was wonderful w/o it and stayed more on thick side rather than liquid-y, which we loved. I will def be making this again (the same way I did today)~YUM! Thanks for sharing. :)

Avocados and Almonds

Reviewed: Jul. 6, 2014
I LOVED this! I didn't chop my almonds too fine and did not drain them before putting them over the avocados b/c I wasn't gonna waste that yummy browned butter, but instead drizzled it over the avocados along w/ the nuts. This made a tasty treat and I would def make this again~YUM! Thanks for sharing. :)
