Quick recipe. Good taste but next time I'd use real whipping cream instead of Cool Whip which gives recipes a generic taste, in my opinion.

Habanero Hellfire Chili

Great recipe! It's got some good kick to it. The only thing I changed was upping the spices to my personal tastes and adding an entire onion. Thanks for the recipe. We'll be having this one again.

Bodacious Broccoli Salad

This is a great recipe to start with. I did make a couple of changes though: I used about 1.25lb gound turkey and 1.3lb of mexican chorizo sausage (I didn't want all that fat in there). I also added more cumin, some paprika and chili podwer. Instead of ricotta, I used cottage cheese (since that's what I do with my regular Italian lasagna). In addition to the cobly jack I used, I added pepper jack to the ricottta/egg mixture. And for an additional crunch I added a can of corn to the sauce. This had kick and turned out AWESOME. I can't wait to make it again (since after eating 2 pieces, I dropped the entire lasagna pan). Thank!

Ham and Potatoes Au Gratin

Loved this recipe! I sliced the potatoes instead of cubing them. I used the ham that comes in the cans (found next to the SPAM since that's how my boyfriends mom made hers). I fried up the ham cubes to crisp them up a bit. I sauteed the onion in the butter (used an entire onion) and then added the flour to make a roux and then the milk. I added more than a cup of the cheese. I shredded half of a block of cheddar and half of a block of pepper jack....and those would be the 8oz blocks you get next to the already shredded cheese. Added pepper, paprika and some cayenne for kick. Thanks for the great recipe! Brought back some good memories for my boyfriend of his childhood! We'll be making this again soon.

Buffalo Chicken Burgers with Blue Cheese Dressing

I followed the recipe except for the addition of some bread crumbs and an egg yolk ( I can't seem to get moist burgers without these 2) I also used ground turkey since it was on sale. These were good but thought they could have used more hot sauce. Thanks for the recipe!

Baked Teriyaki Chicken

Best chicken recipe I have tried on here. I use about 2tablespoons less sugar than the recipe calls for. I bake the chicken in my dutchen oven covered and then uncover it for the last 10 min to allow the sauce to carmelize. Thanks for the wonderful recipe.

Annie's Fruit Salsa and Cinnamon Chips

I LOVED IT. The chips were awesome. The salsa was refreshing. I used rasberry preserves that I heated up a bit in the microwave so that it would be easier to mix it. I didn't add any of the additional sugar and it was sweet enough. I changed the servings to 15 and ended up stilll only using 2 apples. I also added a mango into the mix for color. TIP: mix the preserves in with the kiwis and apples and then gently fold in the raspberries so you don't smash them.

Coconut-Lime Cheesecake with Mango Coulis

Great flavor! I loved the gingersnap crust and the mango coulis. I left it in the oven to cool and about 30 min later I realixed the oven was STILL. It was still delicious and different. Thanks for the recipe

Adult Watermelon for BBQ's

I'm giving it 4 stars because the watermelon didn't absorb the vodka (used vodka instead of rum) at all. I had put my watermelon initially into a bowl that fit it and the bowl had all the vodka at the bottm after a few hours. I decided then to take out the watermelon, cube it and pour the remaining vodka onto it. It was STRONGGGGG, I used watermelon vodka. will made again maybe with more fruit other than watermelon. Thanks for the idea.

Dip For The Stars

I loved this recipe and wll make it again and again. I halved the butter/feta cheese/CC mixture but ended up using the whole 8oz of CC because it was too salty ( i used salted butter). The pine nuts I toasted in a pan. I chopped the sin dried tomatoes and tried to remove as much of the oil as possible. I used vodka instead of the vermouth. Also - I didn't measure the pesto, nuts or tomatoes. Next time I will try to use a less oily pesto. I served this with assorted crackers. Thanks so much for the recipe. This one is a keeper.

Vanilla Crepes

Perfect as is. I followed the recipe to a T. I served with warm applessauce and powdered sugar. This recipe fed 2 of us and we each had 3 medium sized crepes. next time I will be doubling the recipe. Thanks!

Grapefruit Margaritas

Graet recipe! You can't taste the booze but it is there! I used a can of frozen lime, lemon, orange mix (no limeade at the store and mama wanted a cocktail NOW!) so I added a splash of lime juice to compensate. I rimmed my glass with a lime and then sugar. Thanks for the dangerous concoction ;) I'll be making these all summer long!

Peanut Butter Fingers

Boyfriend liked them. I thought they were too much sweetness for me (but i'm not a huge sweets fan). They went together quickly but weren't gobbled up like other recipes I've tried. I used a 9X13 pan, any thicker and the sweetness would have been overpowering for my tastes.

Slider-Style Mini Burgers

These were easy to make and pleased a crowd! Thank you for the recipe and the idea. I'll be making these again for parties. I didn't use the cheddar cheese since of my guests was lactose intolerant but did put blue cheese on half of these bad boys and they were great! Thanks again. Smoky Chipotle Hummus

Bravo Bravo Bravo!!! This was the best hummus I have ever had! I've made a couple of hummus recipes off this site, and my boyfriend and I both agree that this is the BEST ONE! I wish I had made this earlier but was put off by the amount of ingredients in the dish but this is AWESOME. I was out of lemon juice so I used lime juice. Also I used one can of the beans but put in the whole pepper and about an extra teaspoon of the adobo sauce in. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!

Chocolate Cookie Cheesecake

I loved this cheesecake! I didn't do the sour cream top cause it was getting late and I needed to finish up. YUMMY! Will make again. I will up the flour to about 1/4cup to make it thicker. Thanks for the awesome recipe. (also I didnt use the cinn or brown sugar in the crust and it turned out perfectly)

Meatball Nirvana

I've been using LTH's recipe for some time now and its my staple. I have subbed an egg for the milk without any problems. Also, I never have seasoned bread crumbs so I just up the Italian seasoning (can't tell you by how much cause I don't measure this recipe anymore). If I'm just making this for myself, I add some additional sriacha for more heat (or if I don't have the Frank's at home) I bake these on a slightly greased cookie sheet and flip halfway. These freeze great cooked or raw. Oh and I've used 80/20, 90/10, and 95/5 beef with these and they've all turned out great. Thanks for the recipe!!!

Hot Sweet Onion Dip

This was quick and easy to make. I ate this warm. I thought the 2 cups of mayo was going to be too much so I added more like 1.5 cups and it was great. Thanks for the quick and easy recipe.

Chicken Fajita Melts

This was great. I didnt use chicken but beef that i had cooked and shredded a couple of days earlier. The filling was soooo good. Tasted very authentic mexican-like. I loved the tomato juice as opposed to reg. tomato sauce. This would be great in corn tortillas. Oh, and because I didnt read the directions, I added the salsa in with the rest. Great way to use up extra beef or chicken! I made my own taco seasoning as well. And since I'm not a big bread eater, I hallowed out my bread a little bit so I could get more filling in.
