About this Cook
Heritage Food Chef... kinda says it all. I have been cooking for over 30 years over 20 professionally.
My favorite things to cook
My favorite style would be French Classical. I also enjoy Italian, Cajun & Creole, Mexican (American), and Kansas City Style BBQ.
My favorite family cooking traditions
My family gathers nearly every Sunday after Church to cook and share each others company. Most of my family has a passion for food all most as great as mine.
My cooking triumphs
I have been published several times including in "The Culinary Review" and the Kansas City Times. Have competed in several cooking competions.
My cooking tragedies
Tragedies: mmm... well when you have cooked as long as I have there are many to choose from. The worst... :{ when I was an apprentice I was told to roast some beef bones and make a beef stock. So I put the bones on the rack in the oven and proceeded to roast them. A little while later I was informed the ovens were on fire, I ran to see what was going on. I failed to put the bones on a sheet pan and the grease from the bones had dripped and gotten so hot it caught fire... ahhhggg.. I wanted to become invisable!!!

Challah I
Perfection! No reason to try and improve this, it is flawless. I love Challah and baked some for all my neighbors tonight and everyone wanted to know when I would be making it again. Soon, very soon!

Caesar Salad Supreme
Good Caesar recipe if you don't have time to make the dressing from scratch like the traditional Caesar Dressing is made. Add some grilled chicken to make this a dinner.
