Beef or Chicken Marinade
This is SERIOUSLY the BEST marinade EVER! We usually don't have green onions on hand so we skip them, and we reduce the amount of honey or don't use it at all and it's always just the best. I fall back on this when we have last minute guests and they always LOVE it.

World's Best Scones! From Scotland to the Savoy to the U.S.
These were good, but maybe a little too light. We had scones all over England and Scotland and by far the best ones we had were a denser, slightly drier recipe that we just haven't been able to replicate. That certainly isn't this recipe's fault, but we consider those our gold standard of what a scone should be.

Apple Crisp II
This recipe yielded a completely delicious apple crisp! I made a few modifications: 1 - I added a little extra cinnamon, plus some nutmeg, cloves and ginger. 2 - I put this in a deep dish pie dish and it fit perfectly 3 - Usually people recommend Granny Smith or a tart apple for crisp (or most apple recipes). We had Jonagold apples from a recent apple picking trip, which almost taste like pears and just made sure to keep the apples a decent thickness. We peeled the apples, put them through the corer/slicer and then sliced the sections in half. Perfect!
