Party Pinwheels

We really loved these. I did use half an envelope of ranch, red and orange bell pepper and I used fresh white corn (raw) cut from the cobb instead of celery. I also added fresh parsley for some green color. The corn made this pinwheel over the top good!!!

Delicious Ham and Potato Soup

Chunky Chicken Noodle Soup

I did add more mirepoix, chicken and wide noodles. I also thickened it a little with a cornstarch slurry. I used fresh thyme and a bay leaf, no marjoram. Great on a cold rainy night!

Very good bread. My pans were smaller so it took longer to cook, but a little foil tented over the top kept them from over browning and they were great!

Original NESTLE® TOLL HOUSE® Dark Chocolate Chip Cookies

I love the original toll house recipe, I did use only 1 cup of chips and added 2 cups chopped walnuts, that's how we lilke them. I enjoyed making this recipe because I only use dark chips in my cookie recipes :)

Easy Apple Strudel

I really liked how easy this is. I did add some cinnamon to the pie filling for extra flavor. The ends were a little doughy on the inside, but not too bad. I also thought there was too much filling, so I think 1/2 of a can would be perfect. Overall, I would make this again with some slight changes.

Cheddar Baked Chicken

I thought I reated these before, but guess not. I use panko bread crumbs instead of the bread crumbs and rice cereal. I don't use the 1/4 c. butter in the pan first, I use more melted butter and drizzle it on both sides and bake them on a rack, DELISH!

Creamy Chicken and Wild Rice Soup

4 stars for how easy it was, DH loved it, I thought the seasoning packet made the soup taste too much like canned, and I don't eat canned soup, so I'm guessing here. Anyway I did use less flour and butter because I didn't want stew like soup and it was a good consistancy for us. I also added carrot, onion and celery. I will make this again minus the seasoning packet, I'll add my own seasoning :)

Pulled Chicken Crescents

This was good, but I personally felt it was just okay. DH liked if just fine. I thought the bbq sauce was too sweet so I added some abodo sauce to it to give it some spice.

Zesty Italian Crescent Casserole

This was good, but if I didn't tweek it, it would have been bland. I added some italian seasoning and red wine to the ground beef as it cooked. I used gouda cheese instead of jack or mozzarella, and asiago instead of parmesan. This brought the flavor up and we really liked it. Be sure to drain the beef well, or it could be watery in the end.

Pear Bread II

Very sweet bread, next time I will only use 1 1/2 c. sugar or less. I probably will make this again tomorrow due to all the pears we have, and I'm going to add some brandy to the batter also, I'll update my review when I'm done.

Vegetarian Chickpea Sandwich Filling

I really loved this. Used a potato masher instead of a fork to mash the chickpeas. I did use fresh dill, and less lemon and I didn't use any onion, personal preference. Quick and easy!
