Banana-Chip Oat Muffins

Reviewed: Jul. 15, 2009
These were fabulous! The only change I did was to omit the applesauce cause I found that I didn't have any and used 1 tablespoon of oil instead. Baked them for 18 minutes and they came out so delicious!

Ultimate Roast Beef Blues Sandwich

Reviewed: Jul. 7, 2009
Such an easy recipe! I left out the walnuts because I didn't have any, but I bet they would be outstanding on this sandwich. Roast beef and blue cheese together is outstanding. Thanks for a great sandwich recipe!

Seafood Stuffed Zucchini

Reviewed: Jul. 7, 2009
Great concept, but I found these to be a little bland. I used all crabmeat. I found that I also had to nuke the zucchini a little bit to make them soft enough to scrap out the inside of them. I may try these again sometime and alter some of the seasoning.

Jenn's Out Of This World Spaghetti and Meatballs

Reviewed: Jul. 7, 2009
I picked this recipe for my first time making homemade spaghetti sauce. Overall it was a success although the sauce was just a little on the sweet side for my taste. However, the meatballs we out of this world! Will definitely be making them again and will try the sauce again with a little tweaking.

Excellent! I used a yellow cake mix and a pacakage of premade cookie dough. Worked great! The cake was just right and the cookie dough was warm a gooey! I topped them with some whipped chocolate frosting. YUM!!

Freezer Caramel Drizzle Pie

Reviewed: Jul. 7, 2009
Wow...so good! It is excellent as written. Everyone raved about how good it was! The only thing i did differently was to use only 8 oz of whipped topping cause that's all I had. Next time i'll definitely use the full 16 oz. Loved the coconut/pecan topping on it!

BBQ Bacon Ranch Dip

YUM! This is a great dip recipe! I used half KC Masterpiece & half Curlys BBQ Sauce. Outstanding! It was the first thing to go and not everyone got to try it. I served it was Fritos Scoops. Everyone was asking for the recipe!

Alyson's Broccoli Salad

Reviewed: Jul. 7, 2009
Great recipe! The flavors worked together very well and the longer it set together, the better it got! I did leave out the raisins, which was just a personal preference. Will definitely make again!

Red, White, and Blue-Misu

Reviewed: Jul. 7, 2009
Very pretty presentation, but really lacked in flavor. The cream/cheese mixture does need some added flavor, whether it be some sugar or vanilla. We had to mix the whole thing together because the cream just overpowered everything else. Will try it again sometime with some adjustments to the cream layer.

Potunas

Reviewed: Jul. 7, 2009
We really enjoyed these. I let my potatoes bake for a little over an hour. It was a little difficult to scrap out the insides, my potatoes kept wanting to fall apart. I used 8 potatoes, 3 packets of tuna and 2 cups of shredded cheese and found the filling to be plenty to stuff all the halves. I also added some salt, pepper and about 2 teaspoons of minced garlic to the mixture. Taste was good and easy to make!

Italian Confetti Pasta Salad

Reviewed: Jun. 2, 2009
Loved this pasta salad! It's so easy and fully of great flavors. I did substitute white wine vinegar for the red because I out. I also used dried basil instead of the fresh. I used a full 16 oz package of pasta and didn't find the dressing to be too much or to have too much of a mayo taste to it. Will definitely be making again and trying different variations, such as adding cheese or other veggies!

Scrambled Egg Muffins

Reviewed: May 21, 2009
These were so easy to prepare! I used almost a full pound of sausage and left out the peppers. It made 12 good sized muffins. Works great to make at the beginning of the week for quick breakfasts every morning!

Tilapia Soft Tacos with Chipotle Cream

Reviewed: May 20, 2009
First off I have to say that the cream sauce for these was outstanding! I used 3 peppers instead of 2 and it gave it just the right amount of heat and spice. The spices on the fish were very good, however, I think next time i'll cut down on the amount of lime juice. To me it had a over-powering taste.

Strawberry Oatmeal Breakfast Smoothie

I really liked this smoothie! I put the oatmeal in the blender first and ground it up a little finner. I also used regular milk instead of soy. Very good!

Swift Strawberry Salad

Reviewed: May 5, 2009
When eaten right away, this salad is very good. However, the longer it sits, the less we liked it. I think the orange juice in it overpowered the other flavors. Plus, the cashews became very soft. If I make this again, I may try cutting down the amount of orange juice, or upping the amount of caramel and maple syrup.

Chicken Honey Nut Stir Fry

Reviewed: May 5, 2009
We loved this recipe! It was so simple and tasted great. I used olive oil instead of peanut oil since that's all I had at home. I upped the amount of oil a bit. I also took advantage of the salad bar at my local grocery store. It sure cut down on a lot of the prep work since I was able to buy already cut up celery & carrots. The sauce was fantastic, I didn't change a thing. Next time I may try adding additional vegetables!

Tropical Strawberry

I really liked this smoothie. It used my two favorite fruits, strawberries and pineapple. I also add half a banana that needed to be used up. It was very filling and I'll definitely be making it again.

I thought this was okay, hubby really liked it. The only thing I did differently was to use 6 strips of turkey bacon instead of regular.
