Coconut Flan

Reviewed: Feb. 18, 2014
Very Dissapointed with the lack of coconut flavor, also an hour is way to long to cook a flan. I should have pulled them out around 40-45 min, they were over cooked. Will not make again :-(

The Best Lemon Bars

Reviewed: Jan. 29, 2014
Don't listen to the Reviews! Don't add x-tra lemon or lemon zest it makes the lemon bars way to sour! Stick to the original recipe!

Fudgy Chocolate Cream Pie

Reviewed: Jan. 6, 2014
After reading the reviews, I decided to make the changes several people had mentioned. I added the x-tra 2 tsp of cornstarch and increased the milk by 1/2 cup. I topped it off with some homemade whipped cream and some shaved chocolate. It was amazing! and its very easy to make, the only thing is that you have to CONSTANTLY! keep stirring! I walked away from the stove for a minute and my chocolate filling almost burned. It takes about 13-15min for the pie filling to get thick. I timed it! LOL!

Roasted Garlic Cauliflower

Reviewed: Nov. 17, 2013
Love this recipe, my kids hated cauliflower! NOT ANY MORE! roasting it gives it a great sweet flavor, every time I make it they gobble it up. I usually skip the parmisan and parley, I just dabble a little bit of olive oil some fresh garlic, a little salt and pepper and it comes out just as good. I also make it fun for the kids and buy different color cauliflower , I mix white, orange and purple cauliflower. It gives whatever dish I cook great contrast of color.

Crustless Spinach Quiche

Reviewed: Nov. 17, 2013
I love this recipe because its very easy to make and very light. It really makes a difference for me not to have the pie crust in the quiche, It makes it a nice, light meal.

Old-Fashioned Pancakes

Reviewed: Nov. 17, 2013
This is my favorite pancake recipe, I had always bought the mix from the grocery store, but after deciding one day to try to make pancakes from scratch, I came upon this recipe and it changed the way my family ate pancakes. I will never go back to boxed pancake mix. You can use this same recipe for chocolate chip pancakes or blueberry, follow the exact same recipe just add about a half a cup of the extra ingredient.

Grilled Bacon Jalapeno Wraps

Reviewed: Nov. 17, 2013
These are so good! I went ahead and added a packet of Ranch dressing after I read some of the reviews and some one suggested it, it was a great tip! It gave them way more flavor. One thing I will mention is always use thin cut bacon! I only had thick cut the first time I made these and my grill caught on fire! It ruined the entire batch! They were so burned! Oh! Also if you don't want the jalapeños really, really hot, let them soak in cold water for a couple of minutes before stuffing.

Slow-Cooker Chicken Tortilla Soup

Reviewed: Oct. 11, 2013
This was a great recipe! My family loved it! Oh! and there's no need to pre-cook the chicken, I threw all the ingredients in there with the raw chicken and the chicken was so soft it fell apart. I have made this recipe in my Dutch oven and it turns out just as good.
