I'm a girl on the go with a well-developed palate, so I really love recipes with little prep time and lots of flavor.
It's not a coincidence that cakes and cookies are my favorite things to make, as they also happen to be my favorite things to eat! I love the challenge of baking cakes from scratch and I'm always on the lookout for great cookie recipes.
My favorite family cooking traditions
My mom is a fabulous baker; she has always made cakes from scratch for family members' birthdays. Her cakes are so moist that they lean, so it is a family joke that a cake isn't good unless it leans!

I'm told I made a Souflé roughly the height of a crêpe at the age of 9. My dear mother ate every bite.
