Shrimp Scampi V

Reviewed: Apr. 11, 2011
Has a good taste. But don't pour the sauce over the noodles. The sauce soaks into the noodles and there isn't any sauce.

The recipe is fantastic! It beats eating boring steamed broccoli. I don't put the lemon on.

My family didn't like the recipe. They thought it was so sweet. It tasted like a pancake. I won't make it again.

OMG are they sweet! I always make a recipes as is the first time. Next time I'll leave off the topping; way too sweet. Also leave out the corn syrup and replace it with milk.

Creamed Chipped Beef On Toast

Reviewed: Mar. 9, 2009
It reminded me of the frozen Stauffer's, what I grew up with. I doubled the recipe for 4 people. I used jar beef and drained it twice. Since I drained the beef it needed a little salt. I didn't put in the cayenne pepper. I put in black pepper instead. I serve it on toast.

Double Chocolate Brownie Cake

Reviewed: Feb. 14, 2009
This cake is amazing! If your craving chocolate, make this! It's very rich so you won't need a very big piece. It even good without a whole lot of icing. Powder sugar would work just fine. I will make it again. I might even serve it with some fresh strawberries. Skies the limited on the variations you can do. From different cake flavors, different flavored chips, to different instant pudding or put extracts in too.

Loose Meat on a Bun, Restaurant Style

Reviewed: Feb. 2, 2009
This reminded my husband of a meal he would eat when he was growing up. (ie Loose meat, corn, pork n beans on a bun). I was good. It's easier to eat on a hot dog bun. It took 1 hour to cook down the liquid, not 40 mins.

Meat Shell Potato Pie

Reviewed: Jan. 29, 2009
The pie is filling. Even my picky eater liked it. She said two thumbs up. I put 6 pieces of crumbled bacon and 3/4 c. shredded cheese. If you use more than a lb. of ground beef bake it longer. I'd make it again.

Chocolate Cobbler

Reviewed: Jan. 18, 2009
If your a Chocolate Lover like I am, make this! I too didn't have self-rising flour. I put 1 c. flour, 1 tsp. baking powder and 1/2 tsp. salt. I served it over ice cream. Will make it again and again. It's a nice change to a regular fruit cobbler.

I've made this many times. If I don't have homemade mash potatoes I use instant. The last time I made it I used instant 3 cheese potatoes and put it in large shells. It turned out great.
