I started cooking 5 years ago after getting divorced and realizing that frozen pizza and hot pockets for every meal wasn't going to cut it. I started grilling, then bbq'ing and slowly expanded into cooking all sorts of food.

My favorite family cooking traditions
Not a whole lot of family cooking traditions. We've started hosting a big get together every summer that's drawing a decent crowd.
My cooking triumphs
Having the opportunity to bbq for 100+ people at least half a dozen times a year.
My cooking tragedies
Watery alfredo sauce, well done steaks that were meant to be medium rare, disgustingly over cooked vegetables, sweet bbq sauce that was mouth torching hot, burnt bacon....a true tragedy.
