About this Cook
I started cooking 5 years ago after getting divorced and realizing that frozen pizza and hot pockets for every meal wasn't going to cut it. I started grilling, then bbq'ing and slowly expanded into cooking all sorts of food.
My favorite things to cook
BBQ, and lots of it! Low and slow :)
My favorite family cooking traditions
Not a whole lot of family cooking traditions. We've started hosting a big get together every summer that's drawing a decent crowd.
My cooking triumphs
Having the opportunity to bbq for 100+ people at least half a dozen times a year.
My cooking tragedies
Watery alfredo sauce, well done steaks that were meant to be medium rare, disgustingly over cooked vegetables, sweet bbq sauce that was mouth torching hot, burnt bacon....a true tragedy.

Cajun Chicken Lasagna
Very yummy! The alfredo sauce you use, along with the cajun seasoning can make a big difference though. Many popular cajun seasonings are very high in sodium, so I go with a low sodium one because there is plenty of sodium in the sausage and alfredo. I think it turns out better if you don't use no bake pasta as well. Another suggestion would be to cook the chicken seperate from the rest and blacken it. The spices and flavors cling to the meat after baking it in the lasagna.
