Not only does butter help create wonderfully delicious food that probably won't last long; it plays a part in creating life-long memories that warm the heart for eternity and often times stirs up a passion for cooking and baking.

Enough to share!
I am 46 years old. Married to my high school sweetheart. We have 3 children. Levi (24) who is in the Air Force and got married last year, Rebekah (21) who still lives at home and works as a receptionist for a cardiologist group, and our youngest is Zachary (15) who is a freshman at a school for the arts. His primary instrument is trombone, but he plays a few different ones.
I absolutely love dogs and have 4 of them. We are very committed and involved in our church. And, of course, I love to bake and cook. I even had the privilege of making a meal for a band that came to play a concert for our youth group. As a matter of fact, the main course was the Slow Cooker Chicken and Dumpling recipe from All Recipes!!
My favorite things to cook
DESSERTS!! But I just enjoy cooking and baking in general, and love to try new recipes.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Getting the whole family involved...especially during the holidays. I can remember having so much fun helping my mom with cut- out cookies at Christmas when I was young, and I started my kids doing recipes when they were young. We have wonderful memories and it makes me feel good to know they can prepare a meal for themselves.
My cooking triumphs
I consider it a triumph anytime something I prepare brings someone else enjoyment...love to make other people smile : )
My cooking tragedies
As long as it's edible I don't really consider it a tragedy, but I do remember one time years ago I tried a recipe (can't recall what it was now) that neither me or my husband would eat and we went out to eat! LOL
